No clue but I spammed some of his vid comments with it, all the people defending Rip from others...They said they will keep liking and watching his videos no matter what!, so I wrote "why dont you give him another thumbs up for giving the anti vaping commercials fuel against us, yes it is now news for the world...you can thank Rip for fucking us royally- then I posted the link to the video. The whole thing is sad! I'm amazed at the number of vapers that defend Rip! Many, that completely miss the real point of what this did. I'm so sick of hearing his defenders saying "he has a right to make money." I AGREE!!!!!! But, I personally don't think he has the right to review and PROMOTE vaping products and then do something this shady!!!! He did far more damage to the vaping cause in this one video that all of the "yes, I'd go buy it" videos!
He's a PIONEER in the VAPING industry and knows it.. For him to do what he did is fucked!!

Nothing gets me in the mood to get excited about a new product like watching a grown man backpedal and act clueless in front of hundreds of thousands of people. He should start every review by explaining how he's not full of shit and how everything has been blown out of proportion.
The thing is, he took down the video to appease people... ...but in his response, he still tried to defend himself like he did nothing wrong... ...like it was an honest mistake. To that, people could've said, "well no, you don't get it, but good on you for taking the video down."
Now that we know it was too little too late, the whole "Okay guys, I'll take the video down even though I was trying to do the right thing. Woopsie!" spiel just makes him look like that much more of a stupid asshole. Not only was his atonement null and void in the end, but he didn't even own what he said in the first place! And now this has happened. It's incredible to me. Couldn't have asked for a more fitting outcome.
Like, just no foresight, man. I can't really bring myself to hate someone who's that stupid. It's just too freakin' hilarious to me. Amazing stuff, rip.What will he come up with next?
It isn't that surprising to me that he still has supporters. Every major youtuber has the ones that stick it out like that - the die-hards. Something about watching someone sitting in front of a camera for too long gets people with certain inclinations thinking that somehow the personality coming down the pipelines is their personal friend. Look at the way some of these fans word the comments they direct at rip.
I wonder how many pointless emails he gets every day from people who talk to him about bullshit like they know each other. He's a possession of theirs and they won't have anybody talking shit about the coveted objects of their delusions. Say it ain't so rip!
Or maybe I'm the fucked-up one for thinking that. But I don't know. People are generally strange. I can't be totally off for thinking that maybe these diehard fans have problems... ...like, you know, real serious problems. Fandom makes some real creepers out of certain people. It defies all basic human rationality... ...why anybody would want to support him and ostracize themselves in the process, one can't help but speculate. Personally, I think the conversational format of his videos is fucking with their heads a bit and they should probably get out more.

If they are subscribed to his channel AND they watch his videos often, then their recommendations and front pages are going to be full of current videos that are either from him or about him. Every time shady shit has gone down, their feeds should have been ramming videos about his exploits in their face... ...often videos from other prominent figures in the vapetube scene. You can't avoid this shit on youtube. Drama finds you and yells at you until you acknowledge it.

I guess you could say it's yet another case of leading a horse to water. This shit is major vape-world news. Rips remaining followers are on the level of 9/11 deniers, only without all of the crazy conspiracy theories.
Another interesting observation brought up in this thread got me thinking: on youtube, drama is a good thing. In fact, it's the best thing that can happen to an established channel. There really is no such thing as bad publicity on that website. I'm dead serious. It's not like other forms of media. We're talking some next-level shit that is built into the backbone of the whole system, here. The algorithms that classify and aggregate videos on youtube are broken. as. fuck.
If you ask any honest, successful youtuber how they got there, they'll explain to you how it all works and how they utilize the things it favors to broaden the reach of their channels. But very few will actually do that because it comes down to tracking statistics and exploiting the flaws in the system to get an edge up without producing content that people necessarily like or want to see more of.
What almost invariably happens when drama like this explodes is that view counts spike for all parties involved. It starts with everyone who knows of them sort of feeding on it. It snowballs within its respective communities and followings... ...everyone likes a good shitstorm. And sure, subs and likes might take a huge hit, but the algorithm really doesn't care about that outside of very specific thresholds.
It mostly looks at views and watch times. This is very crucial to the success of your channel. It makes it so things as seemingly trivial as the runtime and regularity of your output can literally make or break you. Those are two of the biggest factors in how youtube determines relevancy when it comes to recommending one video or channel over another. The more people watch your videos and finish them, the larger the new audience you draw in becomes. This can lead to one hell of a positive feedback loop.
This means that in the same fell swoop that drew everyone in to drop a hate bomb on him and took out what I imagine is a statistically significant chunk of his subs, he gains a better footing for expanding his viewer-base to people who neither know nor care of his past exploits. Youtube is a big place and nobody has time to watch even 1% of it all, let alone delve into the histories of the channels for every video they watch. In a lot of ways, this shit is exactly what furthers the growth of channels all over youtube.
A lot of infamously controversial youtubers owe much of their success and longevity to this. Ever wonder how all of these channels that everyone seems to hate gain sustained popularity among huge and dedicated sects? This is how it is done. Basically, what it comes down to is that a large portion of the community intertwined with your channel can completely oust you and your channel can actually flourish - not in spite of it, but directly because of it. This is simply the way that the system works. That's why you will often see that after these mass unsubbings, these shunned channels don't die, but rather continue uninhibited... ...almost like it never even happened at all.
Come to think of it, this may have a little something to do with how many of rip's current supporters got there.
And that's why we all love youtube. It knows deep down inside that we don't care what we watch. We just want watch whatever it tricks everyone else into watching! It's trending, so it must be important and valuable content. Wait... ...50% dislike bar? Hey, why are comments disabled?

I broke my foot while vaping and had to get it surgically repaired with titanium plates, screws, pins and wires.
It was primarily due to the 30/70 blend I was using. Ever since I changed to 25/75 I have been able to use crutches now.
I wonder if I stop vaping if I will be able to walk on my foot without pain...Let's try, ouch! Nope not yet, maybe I need some of the electrolyte powder I think that might be exactly what I need.
