I have to agree with freemind. However, the upfront cost is more a 50 kit is probably 2 weeks of smokes and gets you 2-3 months of supplies. I diy and can spend more on one bottle of juice in a store than i do diy the whole month.

People like this is why we should just get rid of PIF sections. Maybe a better solution would be to just BAN new people asking for freebies. Really gets under my skin.

I know. I think they don't realize we can read their past threads (history).
I think we need to have a new rule in PIF. The rule would include the members here get to investigate the request. I know needy people do exist but are rare.
nevermind. thought it wouldnt hurt to ask. guess i was wrong. I sure as hell didnt deserve this. im not gonna waste time defending myself or explaining my situation. if i could go back I wouldnt have bothered asking

I've been PIF'ed a good bit of stuff over the last 2 yrs, especially during my first year when I still trying to get everything I needed... but I DIDN'T ASK FOR ANY OF IT -- it was all volunteered, by those who knew that I wasn't terribly well-off financially -- how did they know that? Because I took part in a forum and they learned it just as part of getting to know me.
If you want or need stuff PIF'ed to you... MAKE FRIENDS. Friends are quick to offer whatever is needed -- strangers, not so much.

Exactly! If I know the person is having a rough time or a request is made from a member I know- I have no problems pif-ing. (If I have what is needed).
First, you DID deserve to get called out. It's low brow, and classless to ask for free crap and cry about being broke, then start another thread about spending money for a mod that would cost as much as the supplies you are begging for.
So no, there is no defense for your actions.

Just want to mention that "needy" may have nothing to do with $$/affordability, but more to do with *access*.
You do realize that there are states where people cannot order ejuice online anymore, due to new laws, and some of these people live in rural areas that don't have vape stores.
So, either you drive 50 or 80 miles roundtrip to buy overpriced ejuice from a vape store, or, you ask a friend to order for you, (in another state), pay shipping twice, (and of course, wait for shipping to your friend, then shipping to you, which will be about 3 weeks when added together) and of course, buy them something in the bargain for their trouble........yes, there are many who can't "afford" to do it this way but mostly just getting "access" is a PITA.
That would be a person who "needs" some eliquid, as an example.
