OOO Flavorings Oatmeal

I have been on a mission for an Oatmeal cookie that does not use TFA Oatmeal cookie in any way shape or form because I think it is horrid. I fell in love with Giraffe Biscuits by Giraffe juice a long time ago and have been on a mission to find or make something in the ballpark. I just recently bout me a 30ml of Oatmeal by One On One Flavors and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this flavor and/or any input on what a good starting point would be? I am figuring it will need some brown sugar, maybe a touch of butter flavoring, and some icing. Have never messed with an oatmeal though so wanted some insight as to a good starting point on that one.

I know right. I am just hoping to pull of the basic iced cookie first then gonna play from there

I think OoO has a percentage range suggestion for each flavor, from my experience, start on the lower side of the range for their flavors

FA cookie or Inawera biscuit 2-3%
FA cinnamon ceylon 1-2% light cinnamon notes-not overwhelming
Brown sugar-tfa 3-4% titrate higher or lower depending on taste.
Fa custard-0.5% -1% egg/sugar
Now I have never used one on one oatmeal. I seen a site that said to start @10-15%. IDK I would start at 5% since it seems like its more diluted that other brands. You'll have to taste test or make a solo batch of the flavor
Frosting? maybe a hint of Loranns cream cheese frosting. Start low 1%. It does have AP so if your into clean eliquid you might want to pass.

Forgot about FA walnut. 0.25%

Oatmeal Raisin
TFA Raisin but keep it low as it's kinda strong, 0.25-0.5%.
Hope you find a decent Oatmeal too, many recipe options for that one.

Ok First run of oatmeal cookie is made. Gonna let it sit for a little bit and will taste then let it steep and taste again. Went with artemis's suggestions on % starting with the lower side on them all minus walnut cause that one I did not have. Will update and let ya'll know how it tastes. So far initial smell is nothing lol no smell. I can work with that though cause its not the TFA Oatmeal Cookie smell so that is good lol.

Upon first taste of the juice I just mixed I think I figured out what ingredient it is that I dont like in the TFA Oatmeal cookie. Its the oatmeal lol. I get a weird taste from it and while in the one I just mixed its alot lighter that in TFA's I think the note I am not liking is the oatmeal itself. Will still let this steep and see what it turns out like but I think I am going to try an oatmeal cookie made with no Oatmeal lol

You sound like me when I "attempted" to make a macadamia nut cookie. I ended up tossing the flavoring (flavorwest). It was horrible. BTW Flavorexpress makes a Oat flavoring. IDK if it's good or not not.

they quit making it about a year ago. I have ask them to bring it back but they have yet to bring it back I did get HIC's cracklin oats recipe and there is no oatmeal in it so gonna try that next. Its actually how I ended up with the oatmeal flavoring. I was looking for the Malt in that recipe and seen the oatmeal so grabbed both lol

Yeah I was sad. I had been eyeballing it for awhile but by the time I finally got my hands on enough money to make a good order to start DIY they had quit carrying it

I wrote to a company asking if they really use oatmeal flavoring .. Honestly they said no .. Danish and other favors make it right .. So on we search .

Lol, I also tried to snag that one a long time ago and found out it was discontinued myself.
