Expert advice needed!

So, ive been vaping for over a year now, i've been using RDAs for the past 3 months already, im solid at coil building but i wanna try unregulated mech mods now. Any specific models for tube style mods? Authentic or clone? Im on a budget unfortunately. Thanks everyone!

You don't have to buy authentics to get a good vape. It's all preference.

The Nemesis with upgraded fire button magnets is a true blue, stand by. Lots of people got their feet wet in mechs with a nemmy. I have one.
I also have a Vanilla Sky copper mod.

I would avoid a hybrid cap mech, for your first one. Not that they shouldn't be used, but it's just less to worry about not using a hybrid cap.

there's a reason you see people with collections of mechs....apart from their sinfull indulgence ....and the one upmanship....they all have a diffrent set of attributes that endear them to the owner..it's a personal thing....you have to decide what qualities you are looking for in a mod and see what mod fills the bill.....and then there's just the aspect of just seeing a mod and falling in love with it and wanting to own it...I'm personally not a mod collector, that is a bug that I was never bit but, but there are a handfull that I would have liked to own.......list those things you want in a mod and those thongs you don't want in a mod....then start looking at which mods fit that bill and that you have a lust for.

Have you tried the ones at FastTech?

vaporbank has some really cheap Nemesis clones.
I got a Templar clone from them for like $5 and it is a good mod.

Nemmy is an old standby, the stingray, and you may look at the rig.....there are some great authentic mechs in the 100.00 range, but until you decide you wanna have a mech around perhaps you should stick to less expesnsive mods...although it is easier to try and sell a used authentic over trying to sell a used clone.

I love my mechs, they're alot of fun when you build them right, and nothing quite vapes the same.

I have my white Mutation X v4 Mini married to my white Stingray X, they just go together perfectly (Stingray is pretty similar to the Nemmy, almost identical in design and function)

And I got my Derringer on my Copper Fuhattan V2, button throw is AMAZING!!!! (only annoying thing is the magnets are so strong I'm forever picking up small metal things off my table everytime I pick it up lol)

Both mechs can be had for less than $30, and are readily available in a variety of colors to suit your taste.
