nope, and never heard of anyone trying...you may want to look at the toxicity reports of the materials used....the wires with copper in them don't look inticing...and I'm curious as to what ceramics they are using...this from their own msds report...

Yeah, I just read over the MSDS sheet and think I'll pass on this for vaping.
Mmm looking further into the idea, not sure how they can call it ceramic, with that list of chemicals, however there does seem to be other manufacturers claiming pure ceramics being used for surgical aps etc, thinking about giving it

ceramics are one of the safest materials that has been used in vaping..we have cooked with ceramics for a thousnad years,and yes they use ceramics in dental work and in surgical work...alot of ceramics are very safe.

The question I'd have there is: is this particular ceramic wire similar to those types of ceramics? Some are used safely for the applications you mentioned, but not all of them are suited to that. All I'm sayin is that ceramics can be very safe, but not all ceramics are safe. There are a countless many different ceramic materials out there. Some would be great for vaping. Others, not so much...
Just looking at the page, this particular ceramic wire doesn't seem like something that's meant to interface with the human body. It looks to be for industrial and scientific applications. It's not the kind you cook food on or use for surgical implants. Just look at that application list.
I'd probably ask the folks at Ceramawire and see what they think about it first...
After weeks of research i abandoned the idea, it appears that in order to create it the ceramic must be bonded, using oxiides, thus creating the unwanted chemicals, shame was a nice idea, however got me thinking. I got my hands on some C 799 ceramic tubing OD 0.8 ID 0.3 cut to 15mm x4 threaded them with ti 29 awg, put some cotton in the middle of the 4 posts, works very well as a dripper, trying to work out a way of putting this in a rta, i will upload photos as the project moves on
