Natural Remedies for Enlarged Prostate

Dr. Russell Blaylock, M.D., writes:

Men entering midlife commonly experience an enlarged prostate, which can restrict the flow of urine from the bladder and lead to such problems as frequent urination, urine leakage, and urinary tract infections. Here are some natural remedies for men to treat an enlarged prostate:

Eat pumpkin seeds. The crunchy snacks contain protective compounds called phytosterols, which may be responsible for shrinking the prostate. They also contain chemicals that may be beneficial for prostate health.

Supplement with I am a spammer ban me. Made from a type of palm tree, I am a spammer ban me extract can reduce prostate enlargement by altering certain hormone levels.

Special: Doctor: Prostate Problems #1 Complaint. I Have an Answer.

Take beta-sitosterol. This mixture is taken from different plants that contain cholesterol-like substances called sitosterols. Studies have found beta-sitosterol can relieve urinary symptoms of benign prostate enlargement.

Take nano-silymarin. This supplement has been shown to reduce prostate cancer, especially invasion and spread of the cancer. It appears that this compound also inhibits cancer itself anywhere in the body and may prevent cancer invasion in general.

Take extract of stinging nettle. This compound has been used to reduce symptoms of prostate problems in Europe for more than a decade. The extract inhibits the binding of testosterone-related proteins to their receptor sites on prostate cell membranes.

Take rye grass pollen extract. This is made from any of three types of grass pollen — rye, timothy, and corn. The supplement seems to be especially helpful for preventing the need to get up during the night and use the bathroom.

Take pygeum. This extract from the bark of the African prune tree has been used to treat urinary problems since ancient times. Studies have shown pygeum also helps reduce the number of trips to the bathroom, both during the day and at night.

Dr. Russell Blaylock, M.D., is editor of The Blaylock Wellness Report and a nationally recognized board-certified neurosurgeon, health practitioner, author, and lecturer.

Hi Jimi,

When SNAP was created in 1964, it had a simple moral goal: make sure low-income Americans didn’t go hungry. On paper, it succeeds. More than 40 million people—including nearly 20 million children—rely on SNAP every month to put food on the table. But here’s the uncomfortable truth: while SNAP reduces hunger, it is quietly fueling another crisis—diet-driven chronic disease.

Today, SNAP sits at the intersection of two failures. First, it has become a political football, repeatedly threatened by funding cuts, shutdowns, and stricter eligibility rules. Second—and more dangerously—it has no meaningful nutrition standards. That means billions of public dollars are spent each year on ultra-processed foods that drive obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and premature death. Americans aren’t starving for calories. We’re starving for nutrients—and SNAP, as currently designed, reinforces that problem.

Consider what SNAP actually funds:
  • A significant portion of SNAP spending goes to ultra-processed foods
  • About $7 billion a year is spent on sugary drinks alone

As a result, SNAP participants experience higher rates of diet-related disease than nonparticipants with similar incomes.

Unlike school meals, WIC, or military food programs, SNAP—the largest food assistance program in the country—still has no nutrition standards at all.

This isn’t accidental. Every time lawmakers propose basic reforms—like limiting soda purchases or incentivizing fruits and vegetables—Big Food lobbying shuts it down. Meanwhile, recent shutdowns and Farm Bill battles have shown just how fragile the system is, leaving families unsure whether their benefits would even arrive. Funding has now been extended through September 2026, but the underlying issue remains untouched: we are locking in over $100 billion for a program that prioritizes cheap calories over real nourishment.

The good news? We know what works. Research and real-world pilots show that pairing limits on the worst foods with strong incentives for healthy ones dramatically improves diets, health outcomes, and even lowers healthcare costs. SNAP doesn’t need to be dismantled—it needs to be reoriented around nutrition, dignity, and long-term health.

Download the full PDF to understand how SNAP got here, who benefits from keeping it broken, what’s happening right now behind the scenes, and how we can finally put the “N” back in nutrition.

And if you want the complete, unfiltered story—covering the politics, money, science, and solutions—Food Fix Uncensored (launching February 10) goes even deeper.

Kansas SB333 – Prohibiting Fluoride in Drinking Water

MAHA’s Position: 👍 Vote yes!

Why This Matters:
The MAHA Movement supports this bill because it protects Kansans from involuntary exposure to a neuroactive, industrial additive in their drinking water and restores local control over personal health decisions. Ending water fluoridation aligns with MAHA’s emphasis on clean, minimally treated water, reducing toxic burdens, and respecting informed consent rather than mass medication through public infrastructure.
By stopping the use of fluoride additives in public water systems, this bill advances MAHA’s vision of cleaner water, reduced toxic exposures, and greater respect for individual choice in health interventions.

Kansas HB2476 – Federal Pesticide Labeling Requirements

MAHA’s Position: 👎 Vote no!

Why This Matters:
The MAHA Movement does not support this bill because it locks Kansas into federal minimum standards and prevents the state from requiring stronger, precautionary warnings based on emerging science or local health harms. By declaring federally approved labels automatically adequate for state purposes, HB 2476 undermines Kansas’ ability to demand clearer disclosures about chronic, low-dose, and combined pesticide risks to children, farmworkers, and rural communities.
By preempting stronger state-level pesticide warnings in favor of federal labels, this bill conflicts with MAHA’s commitment to reducing toxic chemical exposures and defending communities’ right to know the full risks they face.

What Is Nitric Oxide?

By Chauncey Crandall, M.D.

Nitric oxide is a colorless gas that is produced by virtually every cell in the body. It is a free radical, which means it has an unpaired electron, that plays an important role in the normal functioning of the body’s cells. It also regulates larger functions such as the nervous and immune systems.

It’s easy to confuse nitric oxide with nitrous oxide — but the two are very different.

Special: It's Not Keto . . . Your Liver Is Causing Obesity

Nitric oxide consists of one molecule of nitrogen and one of oxygen. Nitrous oxide has two molecules of nitrogen and one of oxygen. That extra molecule changes the gas completely.

Nitrous oxide — sometimes called “laughing gas” — is used as an inhalable anesthetic, often by dentists. It does not have the same cardiovascular benefits as nitric oxide.

But nitric oxide is a relatively newly discovered molecule — it was identified only about 40 years ago, and its health effects were later deemed so important the three scientists received the 1998 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for describing them.

If your cholesterol is in the "normal" range, your heart must be fine, right?

Not necessarily.

Here’s what most people don’t know: 80% of heart attack patients have cholesterol levels similar to those who never have one.

That means you can have “textbook-perfect” cholesterol and still have dangerous plaque building in your arteries.

Award-winning holistic cardiologist Dr. Mimi Guarneri frequently sees this in her practice. Patients who check all the boxes (low LDL, high HDL, healthy triglycerides), yet they’re facing bypass surgery.

So if cholesterol doesn’t tell the whole story, what does?

Find out in the free Healthy Heart Masterclass, where Dr. Mimi teams up with Ocean Robbins from Food Revolution Network to reveal what truly drives heart disease (and, most importantly, what you can do about it).

>> Save your spot here.

You’ll learn which specific foods really harm and heal your cardiovascular system, how your emotional health matters more than most doctors realize, why stubborn belly fat can be a serious warning sign, and more.

Dr. Mimi will also share the holistic approach she used to drop her own cholesterol from 320 to 99 without a single medication.

If your numbers look “normal,” this masterclass really could still be a lifesaver. For your heart’s sake…
