The Pesticide legislation and the E.O. are complicated and confusing. I have tried to simplify what it is they do--because it is CRITICAL to understand the enormity of what has been attempted.

The attempt to basically deregulate pesticides is shocking. What chutzpah!

When we look at the latest research in longevity, one statistic stands out: Around 40% of Alzheimer’s cases may be preventable through lifestyle changes.

The numbers are even higher for other brain issues.

However, with so much conflicting "wellness" advice out there, it’s hard to know which changes you should focus on that are actually backed by the most rigorous evidence.

That is why I am excited to share a new resource from leading nutritionist and health researcher, Sarah Otto. She asked 12 of the world’s most renowned and respected experts from Harvard Medical School, Columbia University, Bastyr, and beyond:

"What do YOU do personally to protect your brain?"

Not what they tell patients, but what they actually do in their own kitchens and routines. And their incredible answers are all compiled for you in one brand-new eBook: 12 Doctors, 12 Brain Secrets.

Click here now to download your free copy of this amazing new eBook (one of 4 free BONUS guides you are getting today!)

One of my favorite insights in the book comes from Dr. Sarah McKay, a neuroscientist and author of The Women's Brain Book.

She highlights a "Goldilocks zone" for cognitive recovery: The 23-minute nap.

According to the neurobiology of sleep architecture, napping for exactly 23 minutes allows for memory consolidation and emotional regulation without falling into a "deep sleep" state.

This prevents the "groggy" feeling (sleep inertia) and ensures your nighttime sleep remains undisturbed.

Dr. McKay calls it a "second morning" for the brain.

In the free 12 Doctors, 12 Brain Secrets eBook, you’ll also discover:

--> The Air Quality Fix:
Why your kitchen may be the #1 source of air pollution in your home, and the 5-minute ventilation protocol to fix it.

--> The "No Limit" Food: The only food group where more is always better for human longevity (it provides 11 years of cognitive protection).

--> The 2000% Absorption Hack: A simple ¼ teaspoon "additive" that transforms turmeric into potent brain medicine.

--> The Antibiotic Brain Tax: Why a single 2-month course of antibiotics can age the brain by 4 years, and how to best protect your microbiome if you must take them.

--> The "Mouthwash" Warning: Why a common morning habit is sabotaging your heart and brain blood flow.

Then, an unfiltered roundtable with Alec Zeck, Dr. Ben Tapper, and Katie Collins, PA-C, tackling holistic health, informed consent, censorship, and the terrain theory vs. germ theory debate many have demanded, and few are willing to host.

Ever notice how you can polish off a family-sized bag of chips without thinking—but you feel full and satisfied halfway through a steak?

That isn't a willpower problem. It’s by design.

For decades, "Big Food" has spent billions engineering processed foods to light up your brain’s reward centers like a slot machine. They use a specific "hit list" of chemicals designed to override your natural hunger signals and crank your cravings to eleven.

We’re diving deep into the science of:

  • Flavor Enhancers: Chemicals that trick your brain into wanting "more" before you've even swallowed.
  • Texture Tricks: The "melt-in-your-mouth" engineering that prevents your stomach from feeling full.
  • Chemical Combos: The precise salt-sugar-fat ratios that bypass your "stop" switch.
If you’ve ever felt like you just can't stop eating certain foods, you need to see how your cravings are being hijacked.

Get the rest of the story and learn how to take your appetite back:

Dear Jim --

Take Action Now! Oppose The Pesticide Liability Shield.

The House Farm Bill includes dangerous provisions amending the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) that would create a blanket liability shield for pesticide manufacturers, strip states of their authority, and block injured Americans from seeking justice.

Click the button below for a simple way to take action — it will automatically send a pre-written email to every member of Congress involved.

Across the country, public libraries are expanding beyond books to offer seed libraries, allowing residents to “check out” seeds, grow food at home, and return seeds at the end of the season. It’s a simple model that strengthens food literacy and community resilience without requiring massive funding or infrastructure. Learn how you can benefit from the Seed Libraries Initiative HERE.
🩺 HEALTH HACK
Fiber intake remains one of the most under-consumed nutrients in modern diets. Adequate fiber supports metabolic health, digestive function, and long-term disease prevention. Most adults fall well below recommended levels. Here is an outline of the evidence behind why fiber matters for health.
🔬 SCIENCE SNAPSHOT
Even moderate strength training is associated with reduced risk of all-cause mortality and increased bone health (something to pay attention to as we age). The benefits appear independent of aerobic exercise, suggesting muscle maintenance plays a unique protective role. Here is a summary of the findings in this review on resistance training and health outcomes.

🤔 DID YOU KNOW?
Your bones are not static. They are living tissue that constantly remodel in response to stress and movement. Cells called osteoclasts break down old bone while osteoblasts build new bone, allowing your skeleton to adapt to the demands you place on it. That’s why weight-bearing activity like walking or strength training help preserve bone density over time. Great bullet points of key messages on bone remodeling and bone health are HERE.
✨ MAGICAL PLACE
The Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia is the world’s largest salt flat. During the rainy season, a thin layer of water transforms it into a near-perfect mirror, reflecting the sky so precisely it can blur the horizon between Earth and atmosphere. The phenomenon happens because the flat, highly reflective salt crust becomes covered by a shallow sheet of water, creating ideal optical conditions. CHECK IT OUT.
🏷️ LABEL DECODER
“Natural” sounds like a promise, but it’s not regulated. The FDA has a longstanding policy around the term, but it has not established a formal legal definition through rulemaking, which means “natural” can still show up on plenty of highly processed foods. Translation: treat it as marketing first, and verify with the ingredient list second. Here’s the FDA’s own explanation of what “natural” means on food labels.

We often think of bones as separate from the rest of the body.
In reality, your skeletal system is deeply connected to your hormones, gut, kidneys, immune system, and nervous system.
Later this week, Margie Bissinger will host a free live Q&A with Dr. Kim Millman exploring the broader factors that can affect skeletal strength — including environmental and inflammatory triggers.
(Can’t attend live? Register anyway and get the replay.)
Healthy bones depend on coordinated communication between multiple systems:
  • The endocrine system regulates bone-building hormones, like estrogen, progesterone, and parathyroid hormone
  • The gut absorbs calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, vitamin K2, and trace minerals
  • The kidneys activate vitamin D into its usable form
  • The immune system influences inflammatory pathways that affect bone turnover
  • The nervous system helps regulate stress responses that can influence bone density
Dr. Millman’s integrative approach looks beyond the scan and asks why bone changes are happening in the first place.
During the live Q&A, she’ll answer questions in real time and discuss how optimizing organ and system function can support skeletal strength and longevity.
Your bones are not isolated structures. They are part of an intelligent, responsive network. I hope you’ll join this important event.
So thankful that you're making an investment in your health, your life and yourself.
Because health means everything,

Long before glasses. Long before laser surgery.
Long before a single pharmaceutical ever touched an eye —
Healers were protecting vision with plants.
Bilberry was used by World War II RAF pilots who swore it improved their night vision. Eyebright has been documented in European herbal medicine since the 14th century specifically for eye complaints. Ginkgo biloba, saffron, and lutein-rich plants were woven into traditional healing systems across Asia and the Mediterranean because practitioners observed, generation after generation, that they worked.
Modern research is now catching up to what those traditions knew intuitively. Specific plant compounds protect the retina from oxidative damage, reduce intraocular pressure, support tear film integrity, and address the root causes of some of the most common eye diseases.
This ancient, plant-based wisdom is exactly what Jonathan Landsman has gathered into a free ebook called Herbal Eye Care Solutions, created alongside the Eye Health Docu-Class.
Inside this free guide, you'll discover:
→ The forgotten herbal remedies that have helped people protect and restore their vision for centuries
→ Natural solutions for dry eye, eye strain, infections, and inflammation — without drugs
→ How to soothe, repair, and protect eye tissue using plants your ancestors already trusted
→ At-home herbal approaches that complement whatever else you're doing for your eyes
The plants have always been there. This guide brings them back.
👉 Download your free Herbal Eye Care Solutions guide here.
You'll also receive complimentary access to the full Eye Health Docu-Class.
So thankful that you're making an investment in your health, your life and yourself.
