100mg nic base in VG or PG?

Just placed a big order over at ECX of FlavourArt but now need to order up some nic base. I already sampled Nude Nicotine 3mg and NicSelect 3mg in already premixed 70vg 30pg blends. I wound up preferring the NicSelect as the flavors were more pronounced with 3 different sample juice blends I made at the same time. Luckily Nicotine River is within driving distance for me so when I place my order I can just pass by and pick it up along with the VG and PG.

Now the question I have is I was thinking of buying my nic base at 100mg PG base instead of VG base because of the thinner viscosity of PG. The max I go on my blends is 70% vg and some mixes for friends are 50/50 so I figured the PG nic base would be easier to work with over the VG base.

Is there any benefit going VG over PG in a nic base besides for those who use max VG blends?
Does one have a longer shelf life? (I only plan on buying 60ml as that will last me long enough for my 3mg nic blends)
I know the VG based nic's are best kept in a amber glass bottle and put in the freezer, is it the same for PG based?

This forum is awesome, I am a DIY juice convert thanks to all of you!

Storing is the same for either 1. Like you already stated, Nic in PG is easier to work with. Nic in VG gives you greater flexibility in PG/VG ratios. If you don't need that flexibility then I'd go with Nic in PG for the simplicity of working with it. IMO shelf life is going to basically be the same.

VG nic is going to be real thick coming out of the freezer. Making 3mg juice out of 100mg PG nic base, you aren't adding too much PG to the mixture anyway.
