16 Years...

I normally don't gloat about things, but this I am a little proud of myself. Today is my 16th year of not smoking the cancer sticks. I didn't even realize it had been so many moons ago until last month or in February. I was able to stop smoking cigs using the patch. I took up vaping, well, the main reason is because of stress, but I really missed smoking cigarettes. And being a vaper, I have had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people on this vaping forum. Thank you all for being so welcoming and kind to me ((hugs)))

The reason I quit... While my grandmother was dying, she asked for me to quit....Promised her I would. Took around six - seven months to totally quit.

I hope I encouraged some to keep on keeping on. 'Cause I know anyone who wants to and has the will they can stop. I know there were more than a few times in the first few years I wanted to start again, but my promise motivated me not to.
