First of all, 22g NICHROME is all I VAPE on my RDAS... On the Griffin I tried regular micro macro 6/7/8 wraps is good as long as u use the 510, if u plan to use the wide bore , it lessens away flavor but u be chucking
Ramp time is quicker, so make sure wicking is at its best especially with the Griffin...
There's a reason why they advertise the GRIFFIN WITH CLAPTONS... IMO

Those Clapton's at 100w+ is way too hot for me...how many wraps of 22g Nichrome on a 3mm bit would give .2- .25 ohms? Steam Engine says 11..wondering if that would fit in the Griffin.. I have 22nic 32 NICHROME 4/5 or 5/6 wraps on a 2.5 diameter coil came out to .11... I ramp it at 65 watts then stay there... 1-2 hit will ramp the coil up compare to a kanthal claps it's longer...
.2 is a about right on a 3mm... Tried 3mm, it's good to go 5wraps though...

22g was too hot on my Griffin ..I damn near choked on a .15 ohm build...pulled that out and went back to 10 wraps of 24g Nichrome on a 3mm bit, .25 ohms at 65w blows good clouds and a tolerable vape, least for me It does..
