If you're gonna try cloud chasing with 28 AWG, consider twisted, triple-twisted, or a 3-strand braid.

Mod and atty you will use will dictate how to build more than the wire you use......
28 awg is really considered a cloud chasing gauge...... but 2 or 3 stands in parallel/twisted can make some steam.
