So my dumb ass just ordered an IPV2s and got 35A batteries, *THEN* read that they recommend 30A batteries.

The 35A batteries were an option with the bundle thingy on the website so it didn't even cross my mind.

Do I need to call them like now and tell them to send different batteries? Or will the 35A batteries *not* blow up my device?

I would assume they mean to use AT LEAST 30a batteries and nothing less but someone can correct me if I'm wrong

I sent an email asking them to replace those with the VTC4's.

Maybe they'll get the message before the package ships and it won't matter.

Won't hurt to run a 35a. You just don't want to run lower than a 30a if that is what it suggests. Higher amperage rating won't hurt a thing. It is when you run lower that you run into problems.

You should be just fine as long as you are over the 30 amp minimum.

I should totally know that being an electrician. I spaced. The device will take what it wants. Duh.

Hey...need some side work done? Hehehe

Well, they were super quick at responding to my email and the change was made. So that's good. I hope it actually doesn't take 4 days before it ships. :(

I wouldn't have paid for overnight if I realized that. Oh wells.

I am at least stoked at their quick response time.

I have ipv2s with 35A, it's work fine for me.
I think VapedCrusader is right, that this device will work with at least 30A battery in it..

Yea. It's been a long time since I had to use ohm's law. I guess my new vape habit will also help me get back to basics with electrical fundamentals.
