I know this don't matter to y'all. Means you're gonna have to indulge my enthusiasm.

New shorter windshield on the motorcycle ... check.
Hidden, powered, amplified FM antenna installed in fairing ... check.
Trunk removed ... check.
Passenger seat removed ... check.
Handlebars set farther up and forward for less crowding ... check.

That leaves:

Oil change ... tomorrow.
Increase air pressure in tires ... tomorrow.
Adjust highway pegs farther forward ... tomorrow.

And, I will be ready to face 1,000 miles in less than 24 hours. The club record 14:00 hours is held by a member of my chapter. Looks like it is safe for another year 'cause I'll be taking off in the rain and 'cause Popo all over the state is a bit bent out of shape following the Wacko testosterone overload thing.

Please roll safe my friend and I will say a special prayer for the bikers that are involved with this

I heard a rumor that I may be getting a new weed eater this Father's Day :)

I am pulling whacker out this weekend for the back yard, "I have a area I used salt solution on last year and I will be damn if they did not grow back again this year, I am so tempted to bleach that area so nothing ever grows there again. I don't like yard work, next time, all deck and rocks, no yard :)

@5150sick ... did we pick up our own personal mod? Or do y'all assign this thread in rotation to handle the volume in here? At any rate welcome and lemme take this opportunity to thank you for keeping me in the know regarding what the legislators and regulators are plotting. Welcome aboard; here's hoping you're stick'n 'round.

I just happened to drop in.
I try to poke around the whole forum but the news & media section is my baby:)
When we were in Google hangouts every night until 6am for a month and a half straight building the forum I pretty much told Joe that that is my thing and what sections I wanted.
I had to beg to get the amount of characters in the title longer and for Dr. Siegels blog posts it still isn't enough.
I still wish I would have thought of the "Good", "Bad", and "The Ugly"
The Ugly to be reserved for the most pathetic propaganda

I usually never "moderate"
If you're being a dick or two of you are fighting I will drop you a message and say "let's talk about it".
I have never banned anybody and I only gave points once.
That was because I was being a dick to a troll that used the word "h*nky" I know that's stupid but if a couple of African American vapers came along and saw it they may have thought it was cool to start dropping the n-bomb while greeting one another.
A rule is a rule and as long you don't break any of the 5 (or 4, or 6?) I don't give a shit.

@5150sick thanks for popping in and checking up on us. Thanks for your contributions to the news sections as well.

@EVERYONEELSE has anyone ever successfully had anything replaced from @Angel Cigs that was worth more than a couple dollars? I have an eGrip that came from them that died in less than a month. Joyetech customer service says to deal with the vendor it was purchased from, and that they will replace it as long as it's less than 90 days old. @Angel Cigs says they'll only cover a replacement for 30 days. Either way doesn't matter, because it died in less than 30 days. @Angel Cigs told me they wanted me to send them a video so they could see what the problem is and they would tell me the solution. I've already confirmed with Joyetech customer service that the unit is dead/defective and needs to be replaced. I made the video for @Angel Cigs as they requested and emailed it to them, and now I'm basically being ignored by @Angel Cigs and Sherly in their customer service department. I don't know what the hell is going on. I'm not sure at this point if they have any intentions of making the situation right and replacing the mod like they are supposed to. Just wondering if anyone else has had anything successfully fixed or replaced that was more than a couple dollar atty...something like a mod that was defective being replaced?

Thanks Rob I appreciate that offer. It's the principle of the matter though. They should replace the damn thing. I know they have cheap prices and convenient they have a US warehouse, but damn @Angel Cigs customer service is lacking.

I've done that @MOMABEAR and she did answer me, then pushed me off to deal with someone through email. They requested a video of the problem so they could tell me the solution. There's no solution, the thing doesn't power up, died in the middle of a vape, doesn't light up when plugged into the charger like it's supposed to and did originally. It needs replaced...that's the solution. Now both Sherly, the person I was emailing, and @Angel Cigs have gone silent on me and aren't answering my emails or PM's.

I have received a replacement from them for an rda after I sent a pictures and a number of back and forth emails for a few weeks. I am sure Angel will see this and get it resolved :)

im sure they will respond now that you are putting it out in public that they are not helping you solve a pretty serious situation when i comes to customer service and care
especially because alot of us in here use them, and that looks as though it is about to change

I know they've sent replacements for atty's and cheap stuff worth a couple dollars, but just curious if anyone has successfully had a mod replaced. Something worth more than a few dollars.

Sounds like fun man! You going to be passing through aggieland at all?
Good luck on the road. I've noticed the cops have been riding thick out in west LA & east TX the last few times I've been out working that way. Seemed like I was only seeing them 2-3 at a time and on a lot of back roads. Even saw my first checkpoint since I lived in Florida in Leesville last week (on a Tuesday afternoon too????)

The same issue your having is why I will never ever ever buy from vaporbeast, worst customer service I have ever had and they only post positive review and not the negative, I only bring that vendor up because I can relate to similar problem, that and they can suck an egg :)

Don't know how long it's been since you heard back from @angelcigs, but most of my communication feedback from them has been late at night. Until they get this resolved, I'll send you a loaner.

Not sure yet ... get final route details Sat am at start.

It isn't s'posed to work. Nichrome is resistance wire. TC works with non resistance wire. Good on you though.
what do you use for wire and what build

I'm building with Ti wire. It is much friendlier than Ni200. You don't need hundreds of wraps to get resistance and it is less fragile than Ni200. You can use it in a mod setup for Ni200, but you have to offset the temperature by approx 100 deg F (e.g. set to 500 F to get a 400 F vape). The wire I'm using is:
I did a couple contact coils, but settled on building spaced coils. The build in my Billow is dual 8 or 9 wraps on 2.5mm which ohms out at .18. I've got a couple single coil builds on other things ohm'g out around .3 to .4.

I'm proud to be a part of this group.
Thank you Jim for that offer, but that's not necessary. My wife can deal with what she is using until we get this thing resolved. I really do appreciate your genuine desire to help me out. If she was without a working mod, I would take you up on that, but she has her old one which works just fine for now. I'm also proud to be a part of this group as well. There's some great people in here. Also, I received an email from @Angel Cigs this evening/morning that they are going to replace it. I will keep everyone updated and let you know once it is received.
