Have I ever mentioned to any of you how much I hate hospitals? I have a true love-hate relationship with hospitals and doctors alike. My wife and kids came to visit for a little bit this morning...but now they left and I'm still here. I don't think my surgeon is letting me go home today. I need to be seen by the infectious disease specialist, and who knows where he is or when he is coming in. Of course this shit would happen on a weekend. This is one of the only things I hate about living where I live, it's such a small hospital. The whole area is limited when it comes to doctors...well, specialists anyway. I'm pretty sure they want to run a PICC line so they can send me home with an IV pump pushing antibiotics. Oh well, I have to do whatever I have to do so I can get back on my feet again. I haven't even been here 24 hours yet and it feels like I been hee for days. I'm going to push my buttons and try to doze off for a few. I hope everyone has a better day than I'm having!
