WWE managed to successfully pull off a four-hour SummerSlam Monday night, with little room for pauses, backstage segments, or breaks. The biggest non-wrestling stretches we got came at the top of the show, with Jon Stewart as host, and then right before the Undertaker/Lesnar match at the end when they aired the big pre-fight video package.
So how was it? Well, it was good. Not as good as WrestleMania 31, but it was solid. I think marks would have been a lot higher for this one had Taker/Lesnar not ended in such a screwy fashion and had been given a cleaner finish, but the match up until the final minutes was great.
