In anticipation of Bloodborne: The Old Hunters' release next week, Sony has launched a sizable update for FromSoftware's PlayStation 4 exclusive.
The patch, which weighs in at just over 9GB, lays the groundwork for the release of the expansion ahead of its November 24 launch. According to the patch notes, however -- which have been translated on Reddit -- the update does more than just prepare for The Old Hunters.
The update also introduces a completely new Covenant, dubbed The Federation. Additionally, Yharnam is now populated by more NPCs partners that can fight alongside you in co-op. The Chalice Dungeons and matchmaking have undergone a few modifications as well.
