The latest issue of Extraordinary X-Men threw yet another swerve at readers today.
Warning: this article contains spoilers for Extraordinary X-Men #5!
The previous issue ended with the reveal that Mister Sinister had resurrected Cyclops and turned the first X-Man into a horrific hybrid of mutant and Inhuman. But as the X-Men quickly discovered in this issue, the enemy they faced wasn't the real Cyclops, but merely a clone. Given Sinister's history of genetic tinkering, we probably should have seen that coming.
