Well, I certainly wish I had looked at that earthclinic site prior to now. Some very interesting information and links. Of course one of the most intriguing I've looked at so far happens to be an Australian study involving saffron - the spice, not my cat. :giggle: It had to be the most expensive spice in the world, didn't it? Still probably cheaper than whatever those injections will cost though.
And natural is much better than petrolium based chemicals ;)

I have used saffron from time to time, last I got was at I-Herb, at the time it was about the best for the price

May be an image of 2 people and text that says 'Love isn't blind, it's deaf. John Lennon.'

Probably one of the biggest stories in the history of Rock and Roll.
In March 1966, the London Evening Standard ran a weekly series of articles entitled "How Does a Beatle Live?" which featured John Lennon, Ringo Starr, George Harrison, and Paul McCartney respectively. The articles were completed by journalist Maureen Cleave, who knew the group well and had interviewed them regularly since the start of Beatlemania in the UK. Three years previously she had written they were "the darlings of Merseyside", and had accompanied them on the plane on the group's first US tour in February 1964. For her lifestyle series in March 1966, she chose to interview the group individually, rather than all together, as was the norm.
Cleave interviewed Lennon on March 4, 1966 at his home, Kenwood, in Weybridge. Cleave's article mentioned that Lennon was "reading extensively about religion", and quoted a comment he made:
"Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink. I needn't argue about that; I'm right and I'll be proved right. We're more popular than Jesus now; I don't know which will go first—rock 'n' roll or Christianity. Jesus was all right but his disciples were thick and ordinary. It's them twisting it that ruins it for me."
When the story ran in the UK, there was really no comment about the "We're more popular than Jesus now" comment. But when it ran in the US a couple of months later…….
For those of you that remember when this happened, do you remember how you felt about the comment when you first heard it? The interview took place 58 years ago today.

I know we're not all fans of jazz. I wasn't for a long time, but had to learn about it to program it for a time. I have always loved this edgy sax solo at the start of this song from Melissa Aldana, to me the essence of jazz.

Never let me go

It's an old song, I think from the 1940's. She brings it up to date. The art work is by Cecile McLorin Salvant.

I made a hamburger for Jean, taders, and green beans and I had broccoli and taders, was really good. I love broccoli with fresh squeezed lemon juice and pepper.
What did you have?

I had the other half of my breakfast lunch, some of those Oceans Halo organic ramen with the Tom Yum sauce, mushrooms, broccolini, fresh pineapple chunks, half a sliced jalapeno. Not bad, not great, because that sauce is mediocre.
