Yes my 1st house did that in 1979, we knew nothing of septic systems but I remembered the same symptoms you were telling us about, we eventually had to get a new septic system costing thousands, but that system was so old and not working correctly even after pumping. Never bought another house with a septic system or Oil heat again( oil heat another nightmare for us) lol! Glad it is an easier fix for you.@SnapDragon NY , you were right
It was from the heavy rain from the storms. But, it was also from neglecting getting the septic pumped out before this year. The person said to get a thing to release the pressure for when it down pours again or just rains a lot.
This is the good thing for yesterday.
I've always found the idea of any particular plant being automatically classified as a weed to be strange. I had a horticulture teacher who said that NO plant is a weed and EVERY plant is a weed, it all depends on location and intent. A daffodil growing in a rose garden is a weed just as much as bermuda grass or dandelions growing in the lawn are.MG class day today was on weeds. We walked around the grounds of the county extension office looking at plants the presenter had flagged as weeds in the lawn. It was a really good and interesting presentation today.
After class I went to Costco since my town doesn't have one and I spent a bunch for really not much, but I would have spent more anywhere in my town. After the Costco wanders and drive home I needed to take a nap.

Curious about your take on that viewpoint based on your MG class.

That's our viewpoint, it all depends on what's supposed to be there and what ain't... If something is growing in my veggie garden and I didn't plant it there than that's a weed.I've always found the idea of any particular plant being automatically classified as a weed to be strange. Dandelions are early season pollinator food since they are blooming well before most other plants.I love dandelions, some on salads even the flower is edible and root makes great tea, but I know Wolfie knows that
