When I see you back playing again, I'll sit one out after someone else plays, to give you extra time.
Not necessary but thanks. It's just getting to me all the problems this splint causes. I'm about ready to just stop wearing it. My nurse friend tells me that it's pretty certain that ortho is going to have to reset it anyway and I might just say screw it, let it heal poorly, it's all above the knuckle so the thumb will still work. I know that might sound stupid but it's how I feel right now.

I totally understand. I'm not going to recommend one way or the other, because I would feel horrid if my recommendation caused an undesirable outcome, but in my opinion, strictly an opinion, if you keep it padded and wrapped securely enough, it immobilizes it anyway.

I really enjoyed that.
Thank you. I bought that uke as my present this year for two reasons.
1 - There are important chords I just can't form on a concert ukulele because there isn't quite enough space for my fingers, which has limited me and is one reason I haven't really put a lot of practice time in.
2- I learned about a place that has open jam sessions on Wednesday nights, but I have to go straight from work to make it on time. Keeping a typical instrument in my car would be bad for the instrument. That uke is made from a carbon fiber/polycarbonate composite so it is not susceptible to changing temperatures and humidity. It loses a little bit of the typical sound of a wooden uke but it's something I can leave in my car without it warping.

I'm trying to broaden my social circle and if I can do that by meeting other musically inclined people all the better, plus if I play with and in front of other people it helps keep me going. It's why I'm sharing a couple videos here even when I know they are flawed.

Don't focus on your perceived flaws. Daily practice is tedious but effective.

I need winter or lights, I just found a song that I want to post, so if one of those two words shows up in a title help me out and give me time to match it.
