Living in an apartment, we really hardly ever see cops. Although one time, my hubs was away and I was just doing my thing, and my upstairs neighbors called the cops! Why? They hadn’t heard a peep out of me, and wondered if something was wrong!!
I was really pissed off. I know that my dh will ask neighbors to keep an eye out if he’s away, but calling 5-0 like that was very uncool. Especially for no noise! One reason why I want a house already!! Thanks, watchful neighbors, piss off. :giggle:

Glad the tooth pain is gone. I have to get a wisdom tooth pulled but I’ve been putting it off. Sigh.

Let's hope it will be in the 70's sooner than what you are thinking . :teehee: The officer could barely hold his laughter in when he saw me, if only, I could've gotten a pic of his face...it would be worthy of posting ! The stuff I use is black and it really brings out my hazel green eyes :teehee: .

Ah, gotta love neighbors :rolleyes: . That would've pissed me off too, damn nosey neighbors :cuss2: ! I live out in the country and neighbors are not too close, but close enough. I was thankful that I have neighbors. Several winter's ago, I went out to get some fire wood, try to get back in and the screen door wouldn't open :eek: . I was in my pajamas and slippers, it was morning time...had snowed five - six inches during the night and it was cold . I walked all the way to my neighbors to see if he could help me get the screen door open. He let me warm up and then drove me home. He went to the back door and got it open. I felt like a dumb ass ! the damn door latch was frozen, if I would've just pushed a little harder it would've opened, needless to say I was embarrassed :facepalm: and have made sure the screen door doesn't shut all the way during the winter.


Thank you :hug: . Is the tooth painful :hug: ? I hope you're not in pain ! Don't put it off too much longer. I had mine pulled in my teenage yrs. Another dumb ass moment, I smoked the same day after getting them pulled. But, I didn't get dry socket, thankfully.

I love your long posts! That’s funny about the door freezing shut, but I’m sure it was really cold with all that snow in your pj’s. At least you have nice neighbors!
My face mask is green, so it kinda looks zombie-ish. Lol But if you gotta knock on my door without calling first, tough luck!!

We had a neighbor upstairs for a while who got a rep in the building as being the local nympho alkie. She would get blitzed and somehow get the people living next to her to have to call the cops. Probably loud music or something. They would come, ring her bell, and she would answer the door naked. Apparently she was famous with the local precinct! :face palm:

The tooth is painful, swells for a day or so, goes down then up again, so yep a dentist visit is in my future. I’ve been taking tiny bites off my dh’s pain meds when it’s bad, but he’s like “those are for emergency/SHTF, not because you are afraid of dentists!” Ack.


It’s feeling slightly cooler, but then we haven’t turned off this AC since we got it recently. Thank God, we had it during the heatwave though. I didn’t think I’d feel so bad from heat!

Keep the ac on, it's well worth it ;) . Yesterday, it was in the 70's here, but no, couldn't shut off the ac :xD: damn humidity :cuss2:

I have a short story for everyone,
We have a couple chipmunks that live under our porch, have for many years. I was getting ready to go out and work in my garden yesterday and when I looked out I seen one of the chipmunks attack a sparrow that was eating some birdseed that my wifey put out for them. The chipmunk downed the bird and started eating it's brains:eek::eek:, then started chowing down on the rest of it:eek::eek:, yes i did get a picture but I have tried for almost 5 years now to figure out how to get them on V/U:mad:. But I have never seen a chipmunk eat any kind of meat always thought they were herbivore:eek::tantrum::tantrum::eek:

They have apparently been infected with the alien carnovirius.
Keep an eye on them if they suddenly start growing...
Might turn out like the cute little bunny in the Monty Python movie.

Wow, that’s strange, and slightly disturbing!! What do Chipmunks eat normally? They must be super stressed to attack and eat birds. Gaah!! Are they getting into GMOs outside of your house?
