First baby of the year at the hospital in Peo. was a boy 10 pounds 10 and a half ounces, and 19 and some inches long.

got a little story about my day
Started with a call from my BIL, the one we moved twice before and he's movin to Mississippi to live with one of Jeans brothers. He had just bought a small smart TV and didn't want to haveta take it with him so he gave it to us for helpin him move.
So after gettin it home we decided to set it up and check it out. OMG we have been on the phone w/rouko/xfinity/and peacock tryin to get it to work . finally 3 hours later it's done. What a nightmare. They were runnin a free peacock thing this month.
So now I am 3 pounds lighter from hair pullin but it works
How's everyone doin on this fine Friday?

It was too cloudy to see the wolf moon last night, so couldn't admire the beauty of the moon.

Not sure if they will do this, but once that free deal over, they may charge you. Just wanted to give you a heads up incase. You may have to call them or email, do whatever to cancel the peacock.

Hope you are enjoying your new tv,, just make sure to cover the peeping tom that is looking in. I think, it has a camera/video on the tv. I put a piece of black tape on the front camera on my phone. Also have a slide door on the back camera. No peeking on me

I thought of mentioning to Jimi that a smart TV is watching you, but I wasn't sure about it because it's so long since I read about that. It eavesdrops on you too, whether it's turned on or off.

Were yours called "smart" TV's when you bought them? Those are the ones, and they can be hacked by individuals that want to spy on you. I would not trust that "can be disabled in your settings".

Snap, that's like when the so called patriot act was passed after 9-11-01, whereby people could be arrested and detained indefinitely without charges, without their loved ones knowing about it. People to the left and right of me were saying "what do I have to worry about, I'm not doing anything wrong". My answer to them was, still is, the regime in power when a law is passed, won't always be the regime in power, and your ways won't always be acceptable to the powers that be.

Government has the right to search your trash, get your phone records without warrant. Legal entities are able to get your internet search history without warrant. How about if one day you criticize government, and the police come to your door and arrest you for hate speech? It's already happening in the UK.

I want my privacy. Our constitution entitles me to privacy. I won't just give it away, not even so companies can see what I'm buying and use it to push more products to me. Not for any reason will I knowingly give up my privacy.

Even if a TV was turned off, Weeping Angel “kept it in a deep standby mode, listening and waiting,” Tech Crunch reported.

Earlier this year, hackers hijacked thousands of Chromecast streaming devices and tricked them into playing YouTube videos that customers neither requested nor wanted. The hackers warned that the bug, known as CastHack, could be used for more nefarious and disruptive purposes.

Still gettin garden maters that have turned red, from the last of the year pick off, just had a large salad and it so much better with your own maters

Even if you just know someone that grows maters by the end of the year they have usually had enough and would be glad to have someone pick off all the green ones just to have less of a mess to deal with.
I am always GLAD to give them away at the end of the year

I don't have a smart phone either. I have a flip phone, not connected to the internet. It's just a phone, and I never use it anyway. I use my land line for work. The cell stays turned off in my tote bag.

I heard from a military guy, that they have listening devices in restaurants, pretty much everywhere. He will not talk about anything out in public, nor with cell phones around and smart tvs, that has do with gub'ermen or anything close to this.
