In reality I wish we had made the change to metric back in the 70's. US is the only country still using Imperial. I guess some in the UK still use Stones and Hands for measurement which is way weird.

I enjoyed my much needed iced coffee and made a good breakfast for Toby and I. John is back to work today. So today is our last real crappy paycheck and next week it’ll be back to normal. Couldn’t pay rent or the weekly food payment for two weeks but the in laws gave us a break. Thank God!

Metric makes sense, everything is decimal and logical. Celsius 0 is freezing point of water and 100 is boiling point of water. The meter is based on the radius of the earth from the equator to the North Pole. One ml is a cubic centimeter of water. A gram is the weight of one cubic centimeter of water. The have refined those measurements some, but those are how they were thought out. Imperial length is based on the kings fingers and feet. Fahrenheit makes no sense whatsoever. Liquid measure and weight are totally convoluted as well.I hate metric. I only know mls from juice, but I wouldn’t like to have to use it for everything. Imagine cookbooks and all.

I totally tuned out during anything metric related, or even fractions in school. I’m not sure how I passed math, but somehow I scored higher in Math than English on SATs.

Well hopefully it doesn’t come down to me having to vape flavorless lol. That’s what I enjoy most about vaping! But I wouldn’t want to go through nic withdrawals either.Vaping flavorless isn’t that bad, I’ve done it. I had a sore throat a while back and I just added plain juice and it was okay.
