Those booms we were hearing and feeling, it was our hot water heater.
The booms didn't stop, so my Guy check on the water heater and found black soot on something, can't remember what it's called. Shut it down and haven't had the booms happen. So, looking into a new one or how how to fix this one. Thank goodness nothing serious happened.

Last night, started to chop some firewood on the splitter. Didn't notice, but a critter built a nest and it caught on fire, put it out quickly ! When splitting wood on Sunday, the nest wasn't there. Have to start checking every time now.
Hopefully, we don't get that ominous third thing.

Very good that he shut it down, who knows coulda started a fire.o_O

Update on the splitter fire...
Late afternoon, my Guy found a small gas leak that caused the rat nest to catch fire. Hopefully, Tar Waters or another store has the part that will fix it. Don't want to buy it online and wait for the part.
Also, buying a new water heater. Hoping all will go smoothly installing it on Sunday. Sunday is the only day off from work my Guy has to do it. They are swamped at work, otherwise he would've taken a day off.
It sucks not having a shower or being able to do dishes the normal way, but at least I'm able to wash the dishes, just takes a little longer :facepalm:

Wow- glad you were able to find it all out and fix that gas leak soon - I hope all goes well with the hot water heater on Sunday- sux to be without hot water! Been there done that- ugh!

H.R. 550, commonly referred to as the Immunization Infrastructure Modernization Act of 2021, was passed last Thursday, December 2nd by the U.S. House in a 294-130 margin vote.

All present Democrat members voted in favor of the bill, and were joined by 80 Republicans (with an additional 130 opposing).

With a $400 million price tag, this bill, per its text, would use taxpayer funds to develop "a confidential, population-based, computerized database that records immunization doses administered by any health care provider to persons within the geographic area covered by that database."

The bill's primary sponsor, Democrat Congresswoman Anne McLane Kuster of New Hampshire, has publicly stated that the primary purpose of H.R. 550 is to "remind patients when to receive a recommended vaccine," but the truth is we all know better than that.

Should it become law, this bill would make it easier for the federal government, by way of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), to collect data and track Americans based on their vaccination status by giving state and local governments the ability to share people's health data

And let's be honest: The only true purpose that could serve is to further discriminate against those who are unvaccinated and to exclude them from the general functions of society -- something we're already beginning to see happen now, both in the United States and around the world.
