All I ever do lately is work work work. I used to know when Easter and Passover were overlapping. Those times used to give me a deep feeling of peace. Nowadays I never notice anything. A client had to remind me last week that we even had a holiday weekend coming.Mk, Thursday morning, was getting ready to feed Cali, but I wanted some water to drink. I grabbed my glass, which, thank goodness, has a koozie on it that @Smigo sent me, it has Australia on it . Was walking towards the stone hearth, switch hands, I know I gripped it, but my hand just let go, landed right on the hearth, glass everywhere. But, the koozie saved a quarter of the glass... YEY !
Well, noticed the trash needed taking out, so got that ready. Got outside on the porch, Cali was gone so she missed breakfast .
Trying to call Cali to get her back on the porch, saw a trash bag that needed to go into the trash. Picked it up and saw a dang Brown Recluse, EEK ! Missed it the first time trying to kill it, a couple minutes later finally saw it again and smashed it, YEY ! Cali didn't show up
Finally, go to put trash in the garbage can, I almost do a face plant, thankfully, I caught myself and saved my face . And the rest of the day straightened out
Friday, a two pan electric plate, well that decided to stop working. Also, a toaster oven, and so did the microwave. Wow three things just bite the dust
Friday night, after getting home from celebrating Passover with my mom and brother. Let Emma and Duke out, than was letting them in. Duke got inside, Emma starts to walk up the ramp, saw something in her mouth. I thought it was a mouse, turned out to be a little baby bunny still with its eyes closed .
She saw me motion to drop it, the baby was twitching, so I thought maybe it was going to make it, sadly it did not . But, we think, Emma was showing us what she had found. Last time when there were baby bunnies they ate them, this time they didn't. We think, Emma didn't mean to kill it, she just bite down too hard.
The good thing, the mama rabbit has her 'nest' kinda back in the corner of the backyard. We got some chicken wire, used two metal wagons to block the nest in. One was flipped on its side the other stayed on its tires so mama has a way to get in from the backyard.
Today, going to cut the fence so it can come in and go from there, hopefully she will use the opening, we think she will. Than, after babies are gone, going to use plastic ties to put the piece of fencing back on.
Saturday, was a good day and Sunday, so far has been a good day just a bit cold with a few ice pellets falling from the sky.
Sorry for such a long post.
! WAKE UP ! from the MEDIA SPELL !
The other day I was talking with a friend and we were saying how there must be subliminal messages coming through somewhere, "everyone must fall on face. fall on face. fall on face". She'd fallen flat on her face recently. A few months ago I stepped off a high curb that I've stepped off a million times, twisted my ankle on a rock, fell hard on my face, with gravel pushed into my skin, a black eye for two weeks, dizziness, blurred vision. A kind man saw me fall, and said to put my arms around his neck, and he pulled me up, then slid under my car to retrieve my keys which had flown out of my hand on impact. I joked with people that I hoped I'd given myself a face lift on that side. As for my friend, In addition to falling on her own face, two of her sisters fell on their faces within the past year.
Wishing you the blessings of peace and abundance (you and your little animal kingdom).
