Damn ninjas, always running around sneaking up on people. Wife it hates when I walk up behind her and she doesn't notice until she tries backing over me or turns and runs into me. Have told her for nearly twenty years now, that's just my natural state, had that flipped switch young and it doesn't un-flip. She still raises hell about it. Maybe she needs oil, or fabric softener? ;) :)

I was chatting here with her over messenger. I went to the gov apprenticeship site. They offer apprenticeship to train you up for jobs. they don't place you in a job though, nor promise a job after you get trained up, just the training but you likely pay for books, tools. They had no training positions for what I looked for, but all kinds of electrician, plumber, machine operator stuff that would require going over 150 miles one way to go get trained up.

She brought up the pipe fitters union house which is also the millwright house in Parkersburg, 40 miles one way. We discussed it realizing I'd need to drive which I don't. Then even if I pay dues in the union still no guarantee of work open, around here that's a who you blow kind of field. If you blow nobody you ain't either. So all closed shop, "sure apply, we'll call you, ... or not".

Finally I told her. "Sure, dream all day." That's kind of my days, half hour of housework to keep up, then set and ... pfft. and I used to do damn near anything, everything. Getting rough.

Last time we tried that, one of these stuffed toys with a sound making box in it ... started making whale sounds. There was no more "dancing" after that, we both were laughing our asses off. Got the toy for our dog, it's a human baby toy supposedly designed to help with sleeping, with the sounds. That was almost as bad as when we broke a bed and my mom come to the bedroom door and ask from behind it, "are y'all okay?" Not quite as bad as breaking a dresser though. *smh, chuckling*

What did you cover up? I’m either getting my ink removed or redone. It looks like it was done centuries ago.

My garden was okay this year. The best crop was spaghetti squash. I have them in the basement right now. Great for low carbing. I have green beans in the freezer from the garden. What type of bean do you plant? pole or bush?

I love spaghetti squash, didn't have room for them this year:( but we did great with them lat year. I grew bush this year cause i had to wait till i took something out to have room:( but we usually do pole beans, Kentucky wonder.

I never grew pole beans but I had a stray pole bean in my bush beans. It is still alive. I'm letting the bean plant set seeds. At least that is the plan.I'm hoping to grow more next year and will pick up some fresh seed.
