Do any of yous know what to get a 17 yr old turning 18 for his birthday?
Anything 100-110$ or less. Any input would be appreciated :)
Hell, I tried to remember my 18th birthday, but no luck on remembering :rolleyes: :facepalm:

Prepaid Gift card- so he can buy what he wants or needs. Maybe ask the parents? Not sure really, that is a hard age to buy for. Good Luck.

Yeah, that's what his dad (my bro) said, to get a pre paid card. But, my bro and mom are getting him the pre paid cards. So, I want to go the difficult route, lol.
Thought about something for his vehicle, lol, he doesn't drive, so no go on that thought. Have a couple of other ideas... One is a monogram robe with his name on it??? Thinking how I would feel getting that for my 18th birthday. But, I'm a girl and would like it. Don't know if a 18 yr old guy would like it :question: .
I got him a 3d castle puzzle a few yrs back, he liked it and said to get him another one, it is pretty cool. I saw a mechanical robot that he can put together. It has a music box inside and lights up, it's made out of wood, I thought it was pretty cool. Than saw a mechanical clock (made out of wood) a little bit more difficult ;) :) to put together, but some of the reviews said it didn't work too well. It would be nice to find something like those in metal, that would be really cool and think he would like 'em more. He isn't into vehicles, fishing, hunting, all the typical stuff guys are into at that age. He already has a nice phone, headset, computer (which all are to expensive anyhoo) . Thought of a nice shaving kit, but would he like to get it for a birthday present :question: I really don't think so.

Is he going to College or plan on traveling? You could always get him luggage. How about a nice watch- my son always loved watches- still does. There is the Smart watch- there are a few different styles and prices I know some of these prices are high- but shop around, maybe something more affordable.
Guys are hard to buy for- maybe nice cologne- my sons love high end cologne, special treat.
Leather jacket- or a nice hoodie?

Thank you very much, Snap :) those are great ideas. Yeah, thought of a smart watch...lol, he already has one, it was last yrs bday present from his dad. And, I think, he will be living with his dad while attending a 2 yr graduate school, than going to college. Luggage might be a gift exchange for next Thanksgiving... we don't celebrate Christmas ;)
This is what I found. I thought it was a dragon, to go along with his 3d castle, I was wrong :rolleyes:...it's a tiger with wings. But, it's still cool and I'm pretty sure he'll like it.


Still going to try to find a dragon ;) . But, I did find a mechanical metal clock. The only thing is, it could be something he just puts aside because it might need more attention to keep it ticking, and he possibly would get tired of messing with it.
Heck, I'm excited to see the Tiger dragon, lol :)
And oh, the leather jacket would be great for his Graduation present. I'll take him out and get a feel from him on the leather jacket, or maybe...hopefully, he'll point one out and I'll go back to see if they will do layaway
