Yesterday was quite an ordeal. Meet mom in town, to the health food store, ate lunch, than to Sams. I had to leave and do some other things.
I have a Faraday cage for my phone, so it was in there and didn't know my mom called. My Guy was with me and she called him....oh shit... She was crying and had gotten in a wreck. So, we hurried as fast as we could to get the frozen foods in, use the bathroom, and for me get back on the road. Got there and mom was good...she wasn't hurt :)
Put all her stuff in my vehicle, took her home...had to rush getting everything in, rushed home to pick up my Guy and doggies and rush to make it on time for the vet appointment on time.
Doggies needed their claws clipped very badly. I would do it myself, but I hate doing them. Plus, Dukes claws are very thick and hard to clip...I've never had a dog with thick claws as he has. Must be the part wolf  . The Alaskan Husky that lives next door doesn't have these kind of thick claws, so it's gotta be the wolf side of him.
Sorry for blabbering on.

Wow, what a day! I'm glad you mom is OK.

Our dog's claws are what I consider pretty thick, but I don't have a reference since she is the first dog we've parented. All I know is when she wants to get scratched she will scratch at my usually bare legs and them suckers hurt. I have no idea as to what breeds she has in her, when asked I just say dog. Totally mixed.

Oh, I know all too well about scratches, Lol. Thankfully, these doggies don't scratch very often, Duke likes stepping on toes, lol. Emma avoids us when we are walking around. Think it has to do with her physical abuse as a pup :(
the people who had her were horrible people !
Mixed breeds are great doggies. Please, post a pic of her :)

 Thank you ! Oh yeah way easier. If, I ever get a puppy, I'm gonna try one of those electric file nail thingys, could be easier  they look easier anyhoo.

I am sorry to hear your mom got in a wreck and so very glad she wasn't hurt, crazy drivers out there anymore. My mom used to own a doggie clip joint, She loved all the dogs but said trimming nails was the job she liked the least.
