Plumber's local union takes apprenticeship apps in June. May talk with Dan more. He is working 10 units here and another 10 at another property for the leasing company. Might see if he wants a helper for just here, get on as an apprentice, let him be the master giving me OJT.

Getting tired of needing two or more "jobs" to try making up to one full-time. Tired too of not having much control. Dan says it's likely someone like me could hit journeyman in about 3 - 4 months based on life exp, besides the 2 years a high school kid would take. At journeyman, you get at least half master's pay rate plus more control.

Driving through will be the big hurdle for me. Might could do a fine plumbing work, ... if only I could drive to the work site. Again, going to talk with Dan a bit more. He seems open to us doing just that, left me an open door to speak, "come holler at me." He might know of solutions regarding being a non-driver, or at least have some general idea.

That would be a great thing if you could get in the plumbers union, a good plumber always has work. Yeah the drivin part is a tough one, wish I had an answer for you my friend

Thank you Jimi. I slept all day in my big chair, ZZZZzzzzzzzzzz. I feel great, ready to get caught up on some work, but I got caught up on Friday, so how could a Sunday possibly be any better? I'll find a good podcast to go with supper. I was going to make the maple brussels sprouts. I finally found more organic sprouts, but I think I'll leave that for tomorrow and just heat something from frozen, since it's already so late (intermittent fasting schedule).

How was your Sunday?

You're welcome Bliss, It feels so good to get a full sleep, so recharged, yes sound like a very good Sunday to me. Those maple Brussel sprouts sound so good, I need to go pick some more and try that, I love anything maplely. Last winter I found some frozen organic Brussel sprouts at a Kroger that were surprisingly tasty.

My Sunday started out not bein to good, had to go into Peoria and pick up some stuff for Jean, I hate goin across the river to sin city but early Sunday mornins most of the shootin is over for a few hours. Last time in the emergency room 6 shootin vic's and 1 stabbin vic came in. But the day got much better when I got home, rest of the was great, thank you for askin my dear friend :hug:

I am doing OK, quiet day here, I did some laundry and watched some TV. We had heavy rainstorms here last night so my gardens were too muddy to work in. Suppose to be a cool week, Wednesday could only get to 65F- Fall on the way.
My daughter is using my car until her's can get new tires installed on Weds, mine needs inspection the end of the month. So I can't go anywhere until I get my car back.
Read about your awful trip to Peoria, ugh! That is why I try to stay out of the city here, lots of crime and shootings here too.

Yes seems like fall here too but gonna be short lived here, back in the 90's and dry startin this weekend :(

Yes we go over there as little as possible but that is where all her medical is at:facepalm: There is just so much more crime in the world today with all the massive greed.

Jean had to go to dr today, they had her do an colonostrophy late last week so they could see what was goin on inside and the prep inflamed her and gave her pain they after the colonostrophy she said she hurt inside, hadta wait till today to get her to dr cause she just wont go back to the emergency room. The dr she seen today said she needs to be in the hospital right now and wanted to get her in a room today but stouburn just wont go till she see's one of her other dr's tomorrow and then who knows:( So might be MIA comin up here pretty soon. and why I haven't been on as much as usual.
Life just wont give us a break:cry:

OMG Jimi my friend- it is so awful all the things happening with Jean's health. I hope the 2nd Dr agrees with the 1st and she go to the hospital and get the help she needs. Prayers that you all get the answers you need, strength and she get the right help for her condition. This has gone on so long for her and I am hoping and praying that her health improves soon .

Just make sure to pop in every once in awhile so we know you are ok and let us know how Jean is doing, which I know you will. You and Jean are always thought of and in my prayers (you know this). I hope Jean will make the right decision 🙏. Love you two :hug: and you are and will be missed !

Jean and you just can't catch a break. I hope and pray that everything is finally taken care of correctly and Jean walks out of the hospital healthy!
