I picked most of the last veggies in my garden- 5 tomatoes, 5 eggplants, 4 green peppers, 50 jalapenos, and drove that box over to my dad. Last yeat I was there weekly with veggies, this year, the one I brought today was the only one for him. I still have a few small eggplants ,summer squash and jalapenos, and tomatoes' maybe they will be ready before frost hits.

It was a hard year, so many had a tough time, I was lucky to salvage what I did :rolleyes: shoulda been a lot more. But there's always next year

Been busy playing gopher again in the garden. This time is moving soil from the pile that is now in the back yard to the first of several raised beds. I should have the first filled tomorrow and planted with cool season seeds. I have a really long growing season compared to @Jimi and @SnapDragon NY. My first frost date is the first week of December so I have time yet. It's finally cooling off enough that I can get lettuce, spinach, and radishes going.

I have some seeds ordered for green onions, bush beans, snap peas, carrots, chives, cilantro, more radishes, and some garlic. The garlic I won't plant until the end of December. Most everything I ordered can take the cold I get here as we rarely get hard freezes.

Went out right after I posted here last and started pickin beans, boy was I off on my guess or 5 bowls, picked 8 bowls and a bag full that I gave a nice neighbor lady who strolled down the alley. She always says hi and talks for a few minutes so gave her a big bag of beans to cook for her family.
I'll put a picture on tomorrow, too tired to go get camera and all to put it on here tonight.
Some of my Okra is startin to bloom, for anyone who hasn't seen okra bloom they are really pretty, I go out tomorrow and take a picture of them too if I remember.

Been snappin and cannin beans all mornin, in between batches right now in the pressure cooker. It's slow with only one cooker my other one needs a new seal and my third one I had given to my mom years ago. We usedta cann a lot:rolleyes:
So back at it:facepalm:
