Took wifey to her surgeon for appointment and they postponed her surgery, they said she wasn't heavy enough for surgery so she hasta put up with the hose comin out of her body and all the antibiotics, she's been on them since the end of April :facepalm: , for another month (they wont take the tube and bag out till surgery), it's crazy she eats well, last night supper, 2 big hamburgers on buns, French fries, peas, and a big bowl of ice cream for desert with a huge glass of milk, and this is how she has been eating, in amounts, and she actually weighed 1 pound less than when they told her to gain. It's crazy so many people tryin to lose weight and she can't gain any.

Jimi, it is none of my business. None. Of. My. Business. I know that.

But something is wrong here. I think Jean is a victim of malpractice. You don't give antibiotics for more than five months. They lose their effectiveness, and then you can get antibiotic resistant strains of bacterial infection. And that stitch that keeps breaking. Her medical team seems to me like a buncha quacks.

I hope it all comes right by some miracle.

That's exactly what I have been tellin her all along, they say since they change the anti's every now and then that it ok:mad: Anti's for that long causes spleen and liver damage, I argue that with those clown she calls her medical team. I keep tellin her get another complete medical team and she about ready too but anymore you can't trust pretty much any so called doctors, they all care more about the money than the patient.
All doctors hate to see me come in because I call them on their shet and make a big scene in front of their other customers, yes they are just customers the doctor hasta actually care about a patient to call them a patient. Ok I'll grab my cane and crawl back down off my soapbox.

OMG Bliss,Jimi,Wolfie,Gopher , Sir Kadly and that crazy little Ninja, many Thanks to you all for thinking of me and sending me all your Well wishes.I don't know where this cold or flu came from? I hardly go anywhere and hardly anyone comes to the house.I hardly ever get sick and hope that this cold clears up soon.

I didn't want to say anything until you had a chance to see the -get well- post, but now that you have I want everyone to know it was Jimi's idea. He PM'd me late in the day for help with it. I was away from my desk for several hours, but still logged in at VU, so he PM'd me again 😹

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better, and hope you'll continue to recover. I think when we come down with colds and flu, and certain other kinds of things, it has to do with so much more than pathogens. There are always millions of pathogens around, but a strong immune defense will deal with them and make us stronger. Depression can attack the immune defense in a very real way.

You've been depressed about Clif lately, after watching beautiful things come up in your garden for a season, then the end of the season, an anniversary that is still on the calendar, and memories of wonderful things gone. Don't think it's all wrong. It's too soon to be over it, and you can never let it go. The heart does things on its own time.

But you will hang on and eventually find peace. I wish you that.
