Baked Cranberry Turkey Sliders
✨
🦃

Ingredients:
12 slider rolls or Hawaiian rolls
1 pound roasted turkey, thinly sliced
1 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
6 slices Swiss cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves intact. Place the bottom halves of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Spread this mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
Layer the turkey slices over the mayonnaise mixture. Top with cranberry sauce, spreading it evenly. Add a layer of Swiss cheese slices.
Place the top halves of the slider rolls over the fillings.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with poppy seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the sliders.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
Let the sliders cool slightly, then cut into individual sandwiches. Serve warm and enjoy!

I'll be alone for Thanksgiving. I've been looking forward to spending that day alone since last year's gathering, the politics, the religion, the tedium.

I'm planning to make my grape salad, some lovely green beans with buttered almonds, and green chili & cheese tamales. I'll listen to all the podcasts I want, maybe play on this forum a little bit.
