Good thing for today: I finished my taxes about 20 minutes ago, and conveyed them electronically to my accountant. Since starting my own business in 2015, I have never finished them before the 4th quarter of the year, the final deadline.



Woot! Now it's shredding day for the records that have become more than 7 years old. Just monthly bank and investment statements are a huge waste of space, but gotta keep 'em 7 years for bad luck.

Please, do not think I'm making fun of my mum.
She was here the other day. Tangee started to play with her shoe string, I look down and noticed she had on two different shoes on. One tennis shoe and the other a type of sandal, though, both were black. I told her and we just started to laugh.
This was a good thing, because she was asking a lot of depressing questions and it got her off those questions, a very good thing cause I was about lose it as in not being able to hold the tears in and it all came out in laughter.

We used to try to find funny things to get my mother to laugh when she had Alzheimers, funny show/movies anything to make them laugh supports their mental wellbeing and gives them a better outlook on life IMHO.
