I was too sick yesterday to remember to ask if everyone Easter was a good one  So gonna now???
We went over to my daughter's in-law's house with a bunch of friends and family. Goat and tritip with all kinds of sides. Of course there was the required Easter egg hunt. Everybody had a good time.

Yes, I had 18 shoe box organizers I had to put together to organize my closet, lol! I have a lot of shoes and want them to stay protected. I actually dropped a bunch of shoes off to charity along with clothes too. I have been organizing all my closets.

Since Clif died I no longer host all the big holiday parties here. When all the grands were little, big Easter Party, egg hunt, candy baskets and dinner, but now they are all teenagers and no longer want to do that, lol!
I still do Thanksgiving and Christmas here at my house. Still had a big 4th party here too last year with cookout and fireworks, but not sure about all that this 4th?

I love the family get togethers at holidays well and other times too, the older you get you start to appreciate even more. That's a hard age group, thoughts goin all direction just have to hope they come to and realize that oppertunity could never be there again, I miss my family.

Hey look I found a picture of Jean and I :giggle:

May be an image of 2 people and text that says 'Nobody is perfect. We all make mistakes. We say wrong things, we do wrong things, we fall, we get up, we learn, we grow, we move on, we live and we thank God for always giving us another chance.'

Darn it didn't show :(

but here tells about it, wish the video would post

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Have You Ever Seen The Rain
"Have You Ever Seen The Rain? » is a song written by John Fogerty and released in 1970 on the American rock group's album Pendulum Creedence Clearwater Revival
There has been speculation that the song lyrics may refer to the Vietnam War, with 'rain' a metaphor for bombs falling from the sky. It's one of the most famous and well-known tracks from the Creedence Clearwater Revival, taken from 1971's 'Pendulum' and covered to the saturation throughout history. And is that the influence of "Have You Ever Seen the Rain? "in rock in particular and in music in general it's gigantic. Not a few have experienced magical moments or been moved by listening to the powerful chorus of the theme, which is like an arrow straight to the heart. However, the song hides some secrets and curiosities that you may not know. Do you want to discover five of them? Here we go!

Have you ever seen the movie "Three Kings" with George Clooney? So good. This song looks like it could have been in it, but I can't find a sound track release.

I never saw the movie, but Metallica does use movie footage in other videos so it is possible.
Metallica used clips from the 1971 film Johnny Got His Gun in their music video for the song "One." In fact, they bought the rights to the movie so they could continue using the clips in the video and in their live performances without royalty issues, according to Reddit and an IMDb article. The movie is an anti-war film about a WWI soldier who loses his vision and limbs in an explosion.

I just looked up The Day That Never Comes and it is not from the movie Three Kings, here is the wiki on it
