Today should be the end of our short three day heatwave, but the hottest feels-like. I didn't have to head out anywhere today so am staying comfortable indoors.

Yes goin to stay in as much as I can, the worst has passed by here and the cool dry air is startin to drift in

I love this pic of your basil. I look at it and I just want to grab a bunch of stems and roll them up in buttered toast and munch.

That's my mini Basil I have full size too but when it was givin to me it was way past due for a haircut so it hasn't had the chance to fully bush out. Our bees spend all day on it, they love it but now the big one is startin to bloom.
