Good afternoon Family :wave:
Today's fishin didn't go very well,
Over the years my favorite lake has gotten so overgrown that there is only 3 places to fish from the shore (the state of Illinois cut funding to keep it's fish and wildlife areas up, now they don't mow or cut the invasive hemlock that has taken over, cheap bastards but we get to pay high taxes).
So when we got to little lake there was people in all the spots so we tried to find another place, lots of lakes there but all grown up and I don't have a boat anymore:(.
So we came home, I did catch a 16 inch bass and a few others but I don't eat fish that don't come outta water I trust.

I'm sorry Jimi. That's so sad that the state won't tend to the most important matters.

Got a real good sleep last night and feel like I am plugged into 440 today
I learned a good lesson today, well I already knew but pulled a bonehead mistake, Jean was gone to stores and I thought I would cook a butternut squash in the oven in a glass dish, well all was goin good till I noticed it was gettin dry so I:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:though maybe I should add water:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm: well what a bonehead mistake, the platter shattered instantly, glass all over the inside of the oven.
Just got that one cleaned up.
I know better too:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
Hope the day is bein kinder to you than it's been treatin me.:giggle::rolleyes:
