Been there and done that mistake too Jimi! Mine was a pork roast in a glass baking dish, needed more water, yikes what a mess inside the oven,plus McDonalds for dinner that night. I bought metal roasting pans after that mess.
I use my Ninja on the pressure cooking setting for my butternut squash, under 10 minutes and delicious that way. I used to steam squash also in a regular pot on the stove, then remove the rind and mash, much quicker in a pressure cooker, but both ways taste great.
