Gawd, that could have been me at that age, but I wouldn't have ever gotten on stage in a tutu. I do love how it ends with all the others putting on their ridiculous tutus and dancing with her.

When I came across this I had to forgive myself all over again for being born the way I was, chubby, with insufficient vision that had me in thick glasses that made my eyes bug out until I was old enough for contact lenses. Me on my 9th birthday, depressed as always:

The jean pockets actually are able to hold stuff, she did such a great job on the quilt

This one she made for her grandson to go with the jungle theme in his room when he was born.
