Good Monday Barely Afternoon Family:wave:
Went through the garden and beans this mornin and what a pity full harvest, only one bowl of beans and a few maters few hotties (peppers) and a couple bell peppers. Gonna make up a batch of stuffed peppers for the freezer, they are a real treat in the mid of winter. Beans are startin to reflower just hope there's enough time left in the year. We're up to 84 quarts of green beans for the year, I all of you lived close I would call it quits on the garden and have you all come and get what you want.

We did that one year with just whoever wanted it whether we knew them or not. We had bowls for them to use for picking and bags for the finished product. We weren't gonna stay out there with them so I made a sign that said. Help yourself to all the green beans you want, you can use the bowls but PLEASE after pickin put your beans i n the bags and leave the bowls.
These were all were the old metal strainer type that you can't find anymore and of coarse everyone of them came up missin.
So now I don't do that unless it's friends or family.

How's everyone doin on this fine Monday?
Hope you are all well and havin a great day

That is just sad that people would take free produce and steal your bowls, but you have to remember how many people never read beyond the first couple of lines. They may not have understood.
