Some speculation about AI that I read indicated that it can be used all anybody wants to copy, simulate, elaborate on, an existing genre of music, but that AI would never have morphed hymns into gospel music, or blues into rock & roll, nor rock & roll into hip hop or disco/techno or industrial music. Those are the long reaching arms of human creativity.
