"Born Free" is a movie I stumbled onto one Saturday afternoon on local TV, a movie that changed me. It was about the struggle of lions to survive among humans, especially farmers with animals of their own such as sheep and goats that the lions wanted to eat. Anyway, it was just the dearest thing to see this couple who had no fear of lions, even adult lions, because of the empathy that flowed from them, understood by the lions they saved from being killed, and saved from being sent to a zoo. It was based on the true biography of the husband/wife couple depicted.

This song was part of the movie soundtrack that won an Academy Award for best original music score.
