Bond said that in Ian Fleming's novel before he ever said it in any of the Bond movies. I think it's just an affectation, to try to depict Bond as discerning, with refined taste, but I'm with Jimi. Shaking a martini with ice causes friction, which causes a little ice melt, and weakens the drink.

For me, skip the vermouth and just give me ice cold gin with a little olive juice stirred in, the "dirty martini". A few years ago I had drinking friends over for dinner. I bought three little jars of olives, poured out enough juice to make room for gin, and we drank our dirty martinis from the jars of olives. Delicious and ridiculous. Replenish the gin when the level goes down.

Isn't that the truth. Grandma doesn't force on you any code of conduct, doesn't reward or punish you for your report card. She's beyond that. That stuff is for the parents. Grandma just loves. A keen memory I have of my grandma is when she put me to bed, and would put lotion on her hands, rub it in mostly, then take my hands and rub the rest on me. Grandma has no expectations or rigors for you. Just love.

Here comes Easter, the holiest time of the year. A wonderful time for me to give thanks for all the wonderful family and friends I have here, Bless you all.

I regret that I'm not very familiar with actual snapdragon flowers, but had an idea to mix up a recipe inspired by them (and for Snap!).
I resorted to a google query,

I decided to go with the new TPA Bubblegum (Pink), enhanced with WF Cotton Candy Jelly Bean, and added in notes of apple (FA Fuji) and cherry (SSA Ripe Cherry). Though not in the google description, I decided to add a bit of TPA Dragonfruit, because, well... Dragon! I finished it up with some Cap Super Sweet.
I don't know that there's any comparison with the actual flower, but I've been trying it today (9 days steep) and it isn't bad at all. It might benefit from a little tweaking yet, but I felt like sharing where it's at so far.
