How are you doin on this fine day Gloop?
Hi, Jimi, I hope both you and Jean are doing well today 🥰

I'm doing alright, thank you.
I mixed up a tester for a commercial juice, Buttermilk Pie by Primitive Vapor. Found a lead reading some recipe comments at ELR.
Buttermilk Pie is the base for another of their liquids, Berrymilk Pie, which was one of my favorites before I started DIY.

I also gave a try to cleaning some pre made Clapton coils with isopropyl alcohol in the ultrasonic cleaner after reading something on Reddit.
I'll give them a try next coil change and see if I can notice any difference.

I also picked up another Instant Pot (electric pressure cooker) for a backup/parts from a thrift store the other day, so cleaned that up and gave it a test run - works fine.

Hoping everyone enjoys a good weekend 🙂

For the last four years, I tried and tried to get my bro to take a Can Cooker from me, as I had four of them. One was my mums, when she had move in with bro and nephew, bro didn't want her Can Cooker that i bought her.

After mum had passed on, bro was over and all the sudden he decided to try one out. Gave him one plus a cook book. Lol, he's been using it non stop. He says everything he's cooked in it has been delicious, lol, and so easy to clean up. I said, I've been trying to tell you this for years, lol.
Just happy he came to his senses :teehee:

Wow funny I need to mix a big batch or 2 to hold me over till the major garden work is done. glad you reminded me.
MMMM any kinda pie sounds good to me, I usedta eat pie all the time.
I still vape with simple coils, bought up wire when all these stupid regulations started and a coiler so most times I give them a burn off a couple times then change them. That ultrasonic trick sounds interesting, wonder how well it works. Cool let us all know how they did.
Never used one of the electric instapot. I am lookin for something like that but that doesn't cook at high temps.
Yuo have a good weekend too my friend ;)

High-Fiber Diet Aids Cancer Treatment

By Chauncey Crandall, M.D.

People undergoing immune-boosting therapy for advanced melanoma may respond better if they eat a high-fiber diet, according to a study published in the journal Science that looked at how diet and the gut microbiome might affect cancer patients’ response to immunotherapy (treatments that enlist the immune system to help kill tumors).

The microbiome refers to the trillions of bacteria and other microbes that naturally dwell in the human body, largely in the gut. Those microbes are integral to the normal body processes, from metabolism and nutrient synthesis to brain function and immune defenses. Gut bacteria play a key role in “educating and training” the immune system.

Special: Doctor Reveals Little-Known Immune Health Secret

Fiber is one factor in the composition of the gut microbiome. It “feeds” certain types of bacteria, including those that produce short-chain fatty acids that have anti-inflammatory and antitumor benefits.

On average, the study found that patients who ate enough fiber fared better: 76 percent responded to immunotherapy, versus 60 percent of those with low-fiber diets. That meant their tumors had at least partly regressed, or their cancer remained stable for at least six months.

However, no such benefit was found among the 49 patients who said they used probiotic supplements.

And the best response rate (82 percent) was seen among patients who ate plenty of fiber but took no probiotics.
