I Hope you are feeling much better soon. Your Illness sounds like it was so awful, yuck. Rest, take it easy my friend.Gonna lot out now for a little nap.
Since becoming "a certain age" I have never been sick, no colds, no flu, none of those 3-day "runs" that kept you home from school. It has just been an idea, which I can't apply to everyone, that young people have sensitivities, get sick, and they are building up their immunity for later in life when they have to be at work on time, or have to take care of children, whatever.
But this week I got sick, and I mean half dead. Monday night I had to just shut down the computer and crawl into bed. I slept late yesterday, got up just to check my email and make sure there were no clients waiting for something time sensitive, shut it down again and went back to bed. All day. Didn't eat a crumb or drink a drop of anything. Missed my supplements. Didn't get up until this morning.
Feeling better now, just having coffee and cookies. Not 100 percent yet, but not feeling horrible anymore.
Sorry you got sick my friend, there's a lot sick goin around which is strange for this time-of -year. Glad you are gettin plenty of rest, that lets your system put up a better fight. Hope you get some food in you today and your sups. both those help loads too. Hope you continue to get better![]()

Good I am glad you feel like eatin it shows healing from whatever nasty bug bite you. This might even justify a sweet cheatThank you my friends.
I don't want to focus on it too much. After another short nap that turned into a long nap, I'm hungry now. Been doing easy stuff, emptying the dishwasher, sorting laundry, getting back to normal.
I was remembering that when we were sick, my mum gave us Mexican food. Does that sound insane? It was much later in life I learned that in some countries they use pure chili oil on furniture infested with woodworm. I don't think she knew that, nor do I think we had woodworm () but chili with onions always perked us up. I think there is an important anti-bacterial, or fever reducer, something, in that magical chile pepper.
So maybe I want an enchilada for dinner. I'm REALLY HUNGRY.
