I am doin good, we finally got some rain here, my garden always does better with real rain water. It's miserable hot here, how is it there? We are gettin a lot of hummingbirds here, I love to watch them, Jean found a couple feeders ata sale so now we get more and more hummers/. Thank you for asking my friend :hug:

It's warm here, not hot, max later today probably 90 degrees. Clif High says we are already progressing into the next ice age, and this year I do notice. It was cold in early May, a little warmer in late May, more rain than usual.

Still no squirrels in the yard

and I wonder if they'll ever come back.

Yep stray cats. People dump them, whole boxes of kittens in the tall bamboo grove next to our driveway. It's hard not to feel sorry for the cats, but people feed them and give them treats, and then they kill for sport. They're not even hungry. So I tend to blame them for the loss of our squirrels, but it's hard to really know.

I agree with you, rain is so much more effective on the garden than the hose.
