Back on crutches again :( yesterday when I was havin my salad our power went out, not a cloud in the sky or even a breeze and out power goes out. I figured it wouldn't be long but when it wasn't on at 8:30 pm we went to bed. Then I realized I forgot my water jug, but Jean had just dosed off so I let her get into a deep sleep so I didn't wake her. Then I wandered into the kitchen, grabbed my water jug, and started back. There was a floor fan that we were using in the dining room and I knew it was there but big foot mis-calculated and hit it sendin me to the floor on my knees and hands, jug rolled off. It hurt my knees so badly I had to just lay there and then after about 20 minutes the power comes on.:facepalm: Been icein it down all night and mornin.
I have noticed the black cloud that constantly hovers over me always dumps extra hard on Mondays:(

Jimi, my gosh. Do you have a flashlight? A simple one you can leave on your night stand? Not one you'd have to go out to the shed for, but a simple one to keep right by your bed for night time use?

This is the most my leg/knee has felt since the original accident, couldn't sleep for the pain and then to top matters off my friend (mechanic) got my parts in and he goes away till Sunday so rode w/Jean to go have it fixed. The guy is so nice he worked on it for 4 hours in the sun and wouldn't take any money except for the parts. So gonna kick around here for a bit then head back to my Ice Packs.
