Yay, finally some good news, no more changing all my clocks 2 times a year and takes months to get used to the time difference.

Still closer than ever before- so fingers crossed it passes in the senate, the President said he would sign it into law when it passes to his desk!
I am sorry for putting a sad face on these. But, I was really hoping for the Standard time to possibly be passed. I don't want to live an hour ahead and having the sun out so late into the night. I have to close all the shades to convince my mind it is dark outside. If it does pass, I'll have to buy more darking shades or curtains for all my windows :(
But I know most people want the extra sunlight.

It was actually lobbyists for candy companies that got daylight savings time extended so that it would always cover Halloween before standard time returned with early darkness.

My own answer to it all is that I don't care. I change the clocks so I can be on the same time as my clients, and of course the time on your computer re-sets, but I still go to bed when I feel like it, get up when I feel like it. Like Cosmo in in the Seinfeld show, time changes don't apply to me. But if I had my way, like you, it would be Standard time that would become permanent. I love the dark days of winter.

There are advantages and disadvantages to staying with either one. With DST in the winter the sun wouldn't be up until after 8AM where I live. With ST in the summer it would be starting to get light at 4AM.

Heads one, tails the other, just keep one. If I had to choose I'd go with Standard Time. Arizona and Hawaii both stay on standard time and seem to be okay with it. Also, I'm a morning person.

Good afternoon Family
I musta hurt my knee pretty badly still swollen from hip to ankle, still have to keep my knee above my heart or it throbs like a toothache, it's a real bummer. Haven't been able to even make it to the window to look out at my garden. Jean has been picking but don't know if she took any pictures :(
I might haveta go to one of those people that I detest if this doesn't get better in a week or two.
Really been goin through the clove capsules but they do help with the pain.
I hope everyone is well and havin a wonderful day
