Real Extracts LLC is located in Seattle.
The company came into existence as a result of the founder, a 40+ year ex-smoker of high end tobacco, failing to find a vaping liquid that even came close to what he found comparable to smoking. He smoked English tobaccos mostly (both pipe and cigarette) as they had the quality and variety he loved.
Unfortunately, the day came when smoking just wasn't an option anymore (too many health risks after so many years and it became impossible to purchase English tobaccos in the US). As luck would have it, he discovered the battery powered atomizer at his local tobacconist and realized that this held promise as a real alternative to smoking.
It took a while to find the right mechanical device by trial and error as the advice from everybody was all over the map.
It took even longer to find an e-liquid that really tasted like tobacco and satisfied his sophisticated palate. The synthetic food flavors were not appealing. The synthetic tobacco flavors were nauseating and disgusting. The answer was natural tobacco extracts.
May 2015: The product line has expanded beyond the original 4 tobaccos to include a cigar, 4 teas and 4 fruit melanges. All flavors are 100% natural leaf and fruit extractions. No artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners.
These extracted products has a very different flavor profile from the artificial flavors. They don't stink up the house or have a chemical odor in the bottle. All ingredients are made in the USA (except the Turkish tobaccos are from Greece and Turkey)
Real Extracts Elixirs are not for everybody.
Our Products are for those that demand flavor first above all other considerations.
First of all they are not cheap to make, market or sell. They are hand made from scratch using only real plants. It takes many weeks to do the extractions. It is a labor intensive product.
Real Extracts are engineered for the tobacco aficionado and the long term smoker that likes real tobacco but doesn't want to smoke anymore. The tea extracts are a great substitute for tobacco for those that prefer a natural non-tobacco. These natural elixirs are a real smoking alternative without any big tradeoff.
