Hey everyone I'm a vapor of a few years now and I have a question cause I'm not seeming to find many answers anywhere else.

I've been using an aspire bdc vivi nova tank for over a year now. My first tank started giving me issues so I replaced it with the same type because I still had bdc coils for it. I started having alot of issues with getting the liquid to saturate the wick, I had started to have to suck on the tank to draw the liquid in or sometimes having to open and drip directly into the coil. It was starting to get tedius so I decided to do research and saw I could get bvc coils for my tank. Found a good deal through eBay for 10 coils bvc for my tank. I got the coils and unfortunately since I still use ego batteries the base of the coils will only make a connection with one of my batteries which now puts me in a whole other delima. Another tedius issue.

Now to my question... On the back of the aspire coil box it says the coils are for Nautilus. So I decided to just get a Nautilus tank. Every time I look at a store picture of a Nautilus tank the coils pictured say they are bvc coils but they have this added section at the top that my replacement coils do not. My coils look more like the bdc coils I've always bought but have 4 draw holes and are bvc. I want to make the leap to buy a Nautilus tank but I don't want to till I know that my bvc coils will work in it for one, and connect to my ego batteries.

If anyone can let me know I would really appreciate it.

The threaded section of the Nautilus coils goes into lower section (metal tube) in the tank.

I'm not sure this answers your question or solves your problem, but we can work on it!

Oh, dang ... I was thinking of the Atlantis. I'll have to dig out a Nautilus to see about the tanke. So sorry!

Yes I know that. That doesn't seem to answer what I'm asking sorry.

Yes now I saw your edit. Thanks for your help. I just want to make sure my coils will work in the Nautilus since that's what it says on the box... And if the ego batteries will connect to it ok. :)

The ego 510 connection is known for one typical problem, when you can't fire your clearo on it. Check out the video.

Yes I've had that issue before. Even when doing this the bvc coil in my vivi nova still won't connect. I've read people who had similar issues, one that even came out with a hack to take off the base of a kanger coil and add it to extend the bvc coil. I really don't want to do that for each coil. That's why I thought it would be simpler to just buy a Nautilus tank. I just want to be sure I won't have the same issue with the batteries not connecting if in fact the bvc coils I bought will work in the Nautilus even though they look shorter than the ones in a starter pack shown in my post.

Any Nautilus coil I have seen has the collar at the top to screw into the chimney . The first pic looks like the coil for the original aspire tank , not the nautilus . I used both in the past
but no longer . Hope that helps.

That's why I was confused I kept seeing the part you're referring to, but mine don't have that. However the back of the boxes say for Nautilus... It just sucks that only one out of 3 of my ego batteries will connect to these coils in my vivi nova tank. That's why I thought I would get a Nautilus tank but I guess that's not going to work either...

I found my collection of Nautilus coils (a few of those black factory boxes with Nautilus printed on them as you describe). They aren't threaded on top. Regarding your connection issue, I'm at a bit of a loss; I had one ego-style battery a while ago, like years ago, but have none now - sorry!

It's Ok I thank you for your time. I'm just going to have to look for another tank that uses these bvc coils that won't be so short at the bottom to connect with my egos... Or... Finally upgrade to some kind of mod lol

Curious if the battery contact is depressed to much or the wire not making a connection.

OK going through the cobwebs.
The vivi can be taken apart down to deck and center post if I am not mistaken.. you might need to get the inner post slightly down just a hair more to make contact.
The battery post in the battery can get depressed try lifting it a bit gently, once it gets to that point you might have consider a new battery the wires are slightly flimsy.

So there's a way to get it to go down further without ruining the tank or coil? Yea that's why I said above maybe it's time to get a mod or something more updated. The ego that works with my bvc coils is actually a vv battery I had gotten from fasttech. The other 2 are much older

Well I did a big lift on my battery shown above that I said didn't work now I'm getting a connection... I always get worried about lifting that center pin too much, doesn't that put wear on the battery?
