Does anyone here ever buy anything from alibaba? I'm trying to find
what i need to look for so I get the best price on some items and not get ripped of.
There anything certain to look for to make sure the vendors are legit or trustworthy?
Just let me know what experiences you've had with it.

Alibaba just crops up with just about any search we do for vape gear.

I have been tempted to order from them but they seem to be a more of a clearing house for different manufacturers than anything else and are geared to quantity orders.

I have been kind of waiting to hear of someone ordering from them myself.

I think they are mainly wholesale for dealers... I recently found a Pioneer4You Seven-30 v2 mod, that I just had to have... They even listed it as 1 unit minimum...

So, I made an account on Alibaba, wrote to the people with the mod I was interested in... Got a reply back in 20 minutes...Turned out their MOQ (minimum order quantity) was 5 ...

Well, I still had to have it! So now I will have it with a spare and several extra to get rid of...

I will say that their shipping is phenomenal... Ordered it last Thursday night (Friday morning their time) directly from the manufacturer and it is already at DHL's CINCINNATI HUB...

umm I was happy..

but now my bottles are low and will have to put in a new order sometime soon..
expect about a week to 10 days for delivery.. better than FT but shush!!

I ordered from there once - the guy was very responsive and I got my item quickly. Unfortunately everything I'm wanting now has a minimum of at least 10 sets...

Seems like a similar setup to DHGate. I notice both sites share a lot of the same vendors/sellers. Mainly quantity based.

I contacted a company for a quote on a product they had listed. To be able to contact the company, I had to register with Alibaba. Despite having the product pictured on their page, the company no longer sold what I was looking for, but 2 years later I am still getting emails from Alibaba. I don't know what makes them think I would be interested in 1,000 flowered hair bands, when I had inquired about vape gear.

Alibaba is where i do all my ordering in bulk for ecig ebay sells. Shipping is fast, but beware which vendor or company you get it from as quality control from a lot of them is terrible. Infinite, sxk, tebeco are a few of the best to order from.

I've ordered through Alibaba many times and always been pleased but probably lucky as well. The whole point of Alibaba is to connect wholesalers to retailers. It's very difficult to pre-qualify your vendor because they don't give you much to go on, so there is always risk involved. When placing a first time order with a new vendor it's always best to order the lowest possible quantity (but then the shipping costs will eat you alive).
